The change of my life

Chapter 4

McKenna's POV:

After I settled in my room. There was a light knock on the door "come in". In walked a girl with blonde hair and blue eyes. She looked almost exactly like kaydon. So she must be Jessica.

"You Jessica?".

"Yea and you must be McKenna!"

Her smile grew and she ran up to me and hugged me. "Oh i can tell that we are going to be best friends" she said. I honestly didn't know what to think about her. I just me her and now she's hugging me. I guess kaydons family is upfront with new people and they really welcome new people with high energy. I'm not used to people randomly hugging me. But I didn't want to be rude so I hugged her back.

"Kaydon said that u need clothes. So tomorrow you want to go shopping?"

"Sure, why not."

"Are you hungry?"

"I'm starving." I replied with a little laugh

She grabbed my hand and started for the kitchen

Once we got there, there was a few kids around my age sitting at the table. Jessica walked towards the table and started a conversation with them. But I just awkwardly stood in one spot, not knowing if I should go with her.

"McKenna come over here. I want you to meet some friends of mine." I slowly walked to where she was standing.

"McKenna I would like you to meet Tristan and his girlfriend Emily and Dylan and his girlfriend Katie. And that's Andrew. She said pointing to Tristan which had dark brown hair and brown eyes then Emily that had blonde hair with greenish blue eyes. Then Dylan that had light brown hair and hazel eyes with his girlfriend that had really pretty brown hair. Then the last one she pointed at was Andrew. Andrew had almost black hair with blue eyes.

All the guys were pretty attractive. And they were all pretty built as well. But Tristan and Dylan both had girlfriends.

"Nice to meet you all." I said shyly.

"How can a hot girl like you be shy." Andrew said flirtatiously.

I couldn't help but blush.

"Awe is Kenna blushing." He said

"No." I smiled back. "I just met you and your already giving me a nickname!"

"Well McKenna just seems to long so why not shorten it up a bit." He gave me a smirk that would make girls drool

"Oh really. So is that giving me the ok to call you drew now since I'm Kenna?"

"Somebody's cocky" he smirked again

"You have no idea" I said back giving him a big smile.

"Okay you two stop." Jessica blurted out along with a giggle. "Andrew stop flirting with the poor girl. You guys just met!"

"How can I stop. She's just so gorgeous."

After Andrew said that I was gorgeous. I heard a growl from behind me. I froze at that sound. It's the sound that's been keeping me up up at night. The sound that has been haunting my dreams. An the sound I came to hate the most.

I was frozen to my spot and held my breath. Everybody at the table seemed to notice my uneasiness. They looked behind me and then back at me. I was terrified to look behind me.

I heard a familiar voice from behind me but I was to much in thought. My

Thoughts were about that day my father told me to run. I kept hearing someone call my name but I was to focused on my father and the growls.
