Mckennas POV :

When Andrew and I arrived at home. I got out and slammed the car door. I stomped up to the house door with Andrew following me. I walked to the kitchen to get something to drink. Andrew walked in a little after me. To say I was pissed was an understatement. There all hiding something from me, I can tell.

I turned towards Andrew, his face held nothing. He was emotionless.

"Care to explain what the hell happened back there" I said at an almost a yell.

"I. I. Uh. " he stuttered.

"What the fuck are you guys hiding from me" I said. By this time. I couldn't hold in my angry.

"I. I wish I could tell you, but it's not my place to" was all he said.

My blood was boiling. I wanted to know what they were all hiding. Thoughts kept swarming my mind and I couldn't shake them. My mind kept replaying those words that the naked dude said. What was a mate? what was an alpha? Especially what was kaydon hiding from me?

"Andrew what's a mate and an alpha?"
When I said that he stiffened.

"I can't tell you. I'm sorry" I started to get more angrier then I was.

I stomped past Andrew and quickly made my way up to my room.

Kaydon's POV :

After Andrew left with Kenna, my heart broke. She was yelling my name and telling me she didn't want to leave me. I felt guilts for hiding so many things from her. And now I guess I have to come out and tell her the thing I've been dreading. And all because of this prick in front of me.

I looked at him and growled.

"What the hell are you doing on my territory Brian. " I said through gritted teeth.

"I told you. I just wanted to see if the rumors are true " he said smirking.

I let out another growl. " Get off my land or ill kill you. "

He put his hands up in surrender and stepped back with a smirk. " Ill be back alpha kaydon. And let me warn you, I made some new friends lately that want that mate of yours". He said as he disappeared back into the woods.

"Follow them and make sure they get off my land. " I ordered a few guards that had arrived a little after Kenna left.

Dylan, Tristan, and I headed back to the house.

I was nervous for what's going to happen when I get there. I have to explain everything.

We walked through the door and headed straight for the kitchen.

When we entered, I only saw Andrew sitting at the table with his head in his hands. He sensed that he wasn't alone and looked up. He looked really worn out.

"She kept asking all these questions when we got here. I kept telling her that It wasn't my place to tell her. Then she just stomped away to her room. I tried to get her to come out of her room, but she's ignoring me" he said as his voice broke a little.

I took a deep sigh and glanced at the boys. They all looked nervous. I ran my hand through my hair and started up the stairs.

I knocked on the door to her room, but there was no answer. I knocked again, still no answer.

"Kenna let me in please. I need to talk to you."

"Leave me alone kaydon. I don't wanna talk. " at her words it pained me. I felt like my heart broke in two.

'Go comfort our mate ' my wolf said

"I would but she needs space" I replied to him.

I walked back down to the others and give Kenna the time she needs

"How'd it go. I didn't hear any screaming?" Dylan said.

"She won't let me in the room." I replied sitting down and putting my head in my hands.

I guess I'll try and talk to her tomorrow. I hope she doesn't leave when I tell her that I'm a werewolf.

McKenna's POV :
(When kaydon got home )

I was sitting on my bed when I heard the downstairs door open. I heard kaydons voice and I automatically knew that he was going to come up here and try to talk to me. I know that I should let him explain but I really need some time to think. I heard a knock on the door, I didn't know what to say so I stayed quiet. Then another louder knock was heard on the door. Along with kaydons voice.

"Kenna please let me in. I need to talk to you." He said with his voice soft.

"Leave me alone kaydon. I don't wanna talk. " I said with my voice cracking.

After I said that I heard the sound of him walking away from the door. I let out a deep breath and laid down on the bed.

I closed my eyes and fell asleep.

*a few hours later*

I shot up out of bed breathing heavy. I was sweating head to toe. I had that nightmare again. It had been so long that I had that exact nightmare.

I laid down trying to go back to sleep, but it was no use. I decided to go down and get something to eat.

I walked cautiously to the kitchen making sure I made no noise. When I made it to the kitchen, I walked straight to the fridge and got a glass of milk. After i got some milk I got a granola bar and walked out back to the patio and sat down. It was still night out and the sky was pitch black with glowing stars spread across the night sky. I remember my mother and I used to stare up at the stars and talk about many things. She had always made me smile when she talked about even the littlest thing. I remember her telling me that people up in the sky are the ones who have died, and they are watching over all of us. She told me that one day she will be up there looking down upon me. I smiled at the thoughts of my mother and looked up at the sky. When I did I saw a shooting star and at that moment I felt that my mom was with me right now. I smiled again. "I miss you mom" I whispered to the night sky.

I must of been outside for a long time because in the distance I could see the sun rising and the night sky fading away.

"Your up early" I heard a familiar voice. I jumped at the sudden appearance behind me. I slowly turned my head to meet the eyes of a tired looking kaydon.

"I've been up. I couldn't sleep" was all I said.

"McKenna can we please talk?".
