Hiccup's forest green eyes widen when he saw you standing besides Dagur. His heart dropped and his chest tighten in pain, feeling the worst possible emotion to feel from a loved one; betrayal. Not too long ago, you were in the same position but behind him. You looked so much different too. No, there wasn't any physical changes, but the look in your eyes were unreadable and aggressive compared to when they had a gleam in their eyes every time he was around. How could this happen? Why you?

"[Name]?!" he gasped.

Dagur chuckled darkly while he wrapped an arm around your shoulders, in which you gave him the most disgusted glare you could muster. Despite the sick person he was, he was still your chief and you were ordered to protect him and serve under him. You just wished it wasn't like this.

"I see you met my loyal warrior," Dagur gloated, "Not only is she strong, but also beautiful." He turned his attention back to you and looked you in the eyes. He lifted your chin but you yanked away immediately and made a noise in disgust. You pulled away from him and stood next to Heather who held an apathy look from her brother's actions.

"[Name]," Hiccup ignored Dagur and called out to you, "What is going on?" It was the only thing Hiccup could do. It was to ask questions. Astrid and the others were behind you, Dagur, and Heather. It was already shocking enough to see Heather again, but he was expecting to rescue you and the others, not fight against you.

You kept your demeanor in check. You didn't even look away from his eyes, but you tell your eyes leaked out sorrow. You did feel guilty, yes, but you did what you had to do.

"I never did tell you where I was from when we first met," you started with no emotion, "I'm from the Island of Berserk."

Hiccup's eyes widen despite a part of him already knowing the answer. His sight lowered to the ground and his breathing became heavy once the new information sinked in. "All this time, you were against us?"

"I was ordered to spy on you," you corrected.

Hiccup gritted his teeth and looked up at you again but this time with a glare. You couldn't help but feel relieved. You wouldn't think you could handle his saddening facade. You would rather see him angry with you because you deserved it. Despite his hardening demeanor, his voice cracked with emotion slightly. "You're telling me, all this time and all that we went through together, was just an act?! You weren't with us at all?!"

Despite his vague questioning, you knew exactly what he was referring to. You have gotten close to the scrawny heir, closer than you planned. You were amazed by his welcoming and easy-trusting arms. Your lips almost curved down at the memory of meeting Hiccup.

You were somewhere in a market area. You wore clothing that didn't stand out. You looked at your surroundings to wait for a signal. Two Berserkers walked together in sync right by you. Neither you nor the Berserkers made eye contact. They continued until they hit a tent that wasn't too far but not too close.

Two pairs of feet walked closer to you and went to the tent next to the one you were at. Your target stood at the food stand oblivious to what was going to happen.

"There she is!"

In perfect timing, you raised your head in fear and started running off the opposite way, making sure to pass your audience in awareness. You slowed your pace when you turned the corner and got caught.

"Hey, let me go!" you cried out.

Almost immediately, there was a roar, a roar of the fearful beast himself, the Night Fury. The piercing sound distracted the guards when they looked up.

Usually, you should play damsel in distress, but not today.

You punched, kicked, and knocked out the guards when they were distracted. You ran after when you were freed. You hid behind a boulder and watched as more guards came out and started going after the Dragon Riders. You saw they were running away from the guards and you saw your opportunity. When they were just away and the guards on their tails, you ushered them to your hiding spot and an escape. They followed without question with their dragons. You thanked them and wished them well when it was time for you to separate. You lead them into even more guards without them knowing it as they waited to ambush. At the end of the fight, one of the riders were knocked off to a cliff with one of the guards dangling on on their feet. The guard slipped and fell to his inevitable. Just when the rider was about to slip, you grabbed hold of his wrist. You pulled him up huffing and puffing.

"You came back," he breathed.

"I heard the commotion and came back as soon as I could," you sighed relieved.

"Thank you," he smiled, "I'm Hiccup and this is Astrid." He put out a hand for you to shake on in greeting.

You almost felt bad you were doing this to the kind fellow. He was so trusting with new people. For a moment there, because of his smile, you actually wanted to be his friend. You secretly held this image of him smiling down only to you.

You took his hand and smiled back at him, "[Name]."

"Answer me, [Name]!"

You blinked away the tears that started building up and stared into his eyes and held back any emotion. He looked angrier as time went by. You decided you wanted him to see you like this. You didn't want to see those green pools cry over you because you didn't deserve it. You finally answered his question.

"Yes."
