Note: This is a story based on my own liking. Some of it may not be accurate. That's because it's not and I wrote it this way.

I woke in the middle of the night to the sound of groaning. Beasts, I thought. The hunt is on. I sat up and shook my boyfriend, Jesse, awake. He slept right through it as usual, so I slapped him. He jolted awake, looked at me, and then held the cheek that I had hit. "Why would you do that?" He asked. The pain in his voice made me feel instantly terrible. Before I could answer him, he jumped out of bed and looked out the window. "Beasts." He said. "Are you ready babe?" I nodded and stood, walking to the wardrobe where we kept our gear and hunter clothes. I pulled two suitcases out, one bearing my initials, and the other bearing his. I opened mine, and pulled out several articles of clothing, and put them on. I chose the attire of a black baseball cap, which I put on reverse, a black long sleeve T-shirt, black skinny jeans, knee high black leather boots, and a makeshift gas mask to cover my face from the splatters of the beast blood. I turned back to the suitcase, where I pulled out a hatchet, which whenever I saw fit, could transform into a battle axe. I did so, to ensure the mechanism still worked. With a loud clang of metal, the handle extended and the blade fanned out. I returned it to its original form and then pulled out my
.357 revolver, which was a gift from my father. I checked to see if I needed to reload. I didn't. I grabbed the extra container of quicksilver bullets and stuffed them into my bag along with some beef jerky and energy drinks. I turned around and noticed that Jesse was doing the same thing. He was clad in his black leather jacket, plain black T-shirt, his loose black joggers, and his boots that I got him for his birthday. He turned around and pulled up the bandana around his neck so that it covered his mouth. He nodded, and I did the same. He slid his colt revolver into its holster and attached his katana to his belt, and headed toward the door exiting the house. I guess I should introduce myself, and my boyfriend a little better. My name is Alexandria Akuma, pure blood, born under the roof of a perfect family. My boyfriend, Jesse Carter, was born on the street. I don't know what type of blood he has, but he always freaks out when I bring it up. Anyway, we are the new generation of beast hunters. The best in the business. And this is our story.
