Chapter 12

We walked into the living room. I introduced Harry and Sophie to Niall.

"Hi nice to meet you." Niall said sticking out his hand. She pulled him into a hug.

"Hi. Sorry I'm a hugger."

"No it's fine." He said pulling away.

"So are you two boyfriend and girlfriend?" She asked smirking a little.

"Yea. It hasn't been that long though." Niall answered her. I blushed after hearing his words.

"So anyways what do you want to do?" I asked Sophie getting the attention off of us.

"We could go sight seeing maybe. I haven't really seen the entire city yet."

"Yea sounds great. We can probably go on the Empire State Building too!" I said smiling wide. I left the room and returned with my jacket.

"Shall we go?" Niall asked smiling and intertwining mine fingers with his.

"Yep. Let's go!"

We walked out of my apartment. We roamed around for a little until we finally found time square. We went to a couple of stores. When we were walking by the Empire State Building a stopped catching Niall off guard.

"Anyone want to go up to the top?" I asked looking at Sophie.

"Sure why not." She said smiling at Harry.

"Ok I'll go get tickets." I then walked over to get in line. There weren't that many people wanting to get up there so the wait was only 5 minutes. After we got our tickets we walked inside and waited again for them to call us. We all talked for a little while waiting for us to be called. An intercom turned on and a woman's voice said.

"Would the next group please step into the elevator. The last names are Heart, Horan, Radon, and Styles."

"That's us." I said standing up. We all walked into the elevator. We stood silent the entire way up. The intercom lady coming back on once.

"Hello visitors of the Empire State Building. We hope you enjoy the view. When up hot the top floor you will officially be 1,250 feet off the ground. Again we hope you enjoy." Her cheery voice. And with that the doors opened. We were the only ones up there. I looked in amazement at the view. I stayed close to Niall though because I'm a little afraid of heights.

"Are you scared?" He asked as if reading my mind.

"A little." I answered honestly.

"Don't worry. It's okay. I won't let you fall." He said comforting me. He wrapped his arms around my waist from behind. He kissed the back of my neck gently sending goosebumps down my spine.

"Isn't this view amazing!" I heard Sophie half yelling half asking.

"It really is. I'm shocked with how pretty it is." I said looking her way. The wind started to pick up making it colder than it already was. Niall pulled me closer warming me. Harry and Sophie went to another section of the platform. I hadn't noticed but Niall arms were no longer around me. I turned around to him gesturing me to come sit where he was. I walked over to where he was and sat really close to him in an attempt to warm myself again. Then Niall wrapped his arms around me pulling me even closer before laying a soft and sweet kiss on my lips. We say there for a little kissing every once in a while. Next thing we knew the intercom had come back on saying that the next group was scheduled to come up soon. Which meant we had to leave. We both got up and walked over to Sophie and Harry and said we had to go. Sophie nodded and took Harry's hand as we walked into the warm elevator. We left and returned to my apartment. By the time we got back it was already 4:30.

"Well we have to go it was nice seeing you again Alyssa. Tell Nicole I said hi."

"Ok I will. Bye." I said hugging her.

"Bye Niall it was meeting you." She said smiling and waving at him.

"Bye. It was nice meeting you too." He repeated waving awkwardly back at her. She waved one last time before leaving and I said bye to Harry as well.

"Well I'm going to go turn up the heat. It's so cold in here." I said walking to the thermostat.
