Heeeyyy! So far, so good, huh? I bet I'd find a way to make them feel more close to one another. I've never experience these relationships thing but I'm just trying my best to make this involved with romance since in the story's genre, romance is included.
Marinette just walked out of class, hurrying up to avoid Nathan's approach or eye contact. "Marie! Marie!" It was already obvious of who it was - Nathan. He grasped on her wrist, making Marinette sharply hone at him.
"What do you want?"
"Look, I'm sorry about what happened yesterday. I didn't really mean it."
Marinette couldn't what he was saying, "didn't really mean it? Does pulling me close to him for a kiss not meaning it?" She tried to yank his grip away but she couldn't, Nathan was still too strong. "Nathan, you're doing it again! Stop that!"
"No, just here me out--"
Someone pulled Marinette away (again) she turned, expecting to see Adrien but it was none other than Jarell. "Now, Now. When a lady says 'stop that' or 'stop it' you have to stop, right?" He spoke in a mild disposition as usual, "that's so ill-mannered of you. Don't you know chivalry?"
"And what does this have to do with you, Pretty Boy? What's a boy with a pretty face like you going to do about it?" Nathan countering back in a sharp monotone to Jarell wasn't the best idea.
Jarell flattened his eyebrows a bit, "what did you say?" Thorns that weren't visible to the naked eye started to sprawl out of the ground, nearly ready to bind Nathan and make him suffocate to death. "My. My. Do adults teach their kids like this? Or is your astute just broken?" Black mists even started to sprawl out, it started to be inhaled by Nathan. The mists came into his body, going to his lungs then to the heart, where the mists were about to pop his heart out.
"Uhm, you don't..have to do this, y'know." Marinette's voice cracked, all weak.
"Haah?" Jarell lost control of his power, making the thorns and mists leave Nathan alone in an instant.
"It's my fault for making him like this. Everything's my fault. People don't have to protect me.. they'll just get involved," tears rolled down Marinette's cheek, she then ran away, sobbing.
Nathan huffed away as Jarell frowned at Marinette's state. "The Aurora Queen's that sensitive? Or is it because she's a woman?" He sighed in defeat and walked away, shoving his hands on his pockets. "Well, I'm just doing these things to make sure the Savior's born. I can't let that redhead kid get away with this," a silver pistol gun slid down his sleeve, "hmm, I wonder how long will it take?"
Adrien saw his beloved pass ahead of him, crying. "Marinette!" He raced up to her, dashing. Marinette hid herself behind a pillar in a fetal position as she sobbed, Adrien kneeled down. "Marie, what's wrong?"
Marinette sobbed then clinged to Adrien, burying her face into his chest and cried. "I just can't take this anymore..! Everyone's being involved with everything! I can't seem to forget what happened yesterday..!"
Adrien sighed, "Marie, you idiot."
Marinette flattened her brows, pulling away. "What's up with that? I thought you were always there for me--"
Adrien snaked her arms around her, "I did. I was just kidding.. you're not an idiot, you're Ladybug. Lady of Luck." He pulled away, wiping her tears with his forefinger. "Now, don't cry. The Lady of Luck shouldn't cry when justice is still strong. After all, your husband's worrying about you.."
Marinette blushed but looked away, she huffed, "h-h-husband? You're still going with that? I-I thought you hated me!"
"I do. But I can't help but protect you." He smiled as Marinette blushed harder, this time, she didn't look away. Instead, she clamped on his shoulders tight.
