Sorry that I haven't been updating for a while. Something came up - Plus, school is irritating, along with the hellish projects and homeworks my teachers assign me. Here's the chapter.

It's been days since the incident of Jarell and his puppets. Adrien and Marinette, along with the other Guardians seemed to have taken down all of those puppets and escaped. They didn't manage to finish off Jarell, at least they're unable to.

One, is that he's incredibly strong and skilled - Second, he is the son of Adele and Mizel. No one would dare killing the only son of the creators of the Miraculouses. It is almost like killing Adele herself or betraying the Miraculous Law.

In the science lab at College François Dupont, the students were lively and open. At every corner of the laboratory, people stood by and talked to each other. Some were reading their textbooks, some were talking and some were just waiting for their teacher.

However, the most loudest person there was Kim who kept shouting for people to move aside as he played basketball in the room, even though he's not allowed to.

The ball in Kim's hand slipped while it was in the air and almost hit Alya's head, if it weren't for her dodging it. "Ugh, Kim! No playing basketball in the classroom! You'll seriously get in detention!" She snapped.

"Tch, who cares? It's not like the Professor's going to be here or anything." He retorted back, trying to fetch his ball.

Alya just groaned at his stubborness and continued to chat with Marinette. Adrien came inside the room and casted furtive glances on Marinette. He tried to avoid getting near to Chloe or Lila as possible.

He took a deep breath and walked closer to the two. "Um, hey, Alya..? Mind if I borrow Marinette from you? Just for a minute, please?" Alya stared at her bestfriend then back at Adrien.

A hidden smile crept behind her lips. "Sure. No problem." She escalated off her chair and went pass Adrien. Eventually whispering to his ear, "Go get her, dude." Which results a flustered Adrien.

Marinette stared at Adrien in curiosity of what he had to say. "So, um, what did you want to say to me that was so private?"

Adrien tensed but relaxed. He sat beside Marinette, taking Alya's seat temporarily. Marinette tensed a bit in the inside and had a faint blush. What is this? Why am I blushing? He was always beside me so why now? She thought, bitting her lip. She soon found out that it was his presence that made feel all jiggly.

"You know what type of relationship we used to have? Like..hating each other?"

"Well, yeah, why?" Marinette raised a brow. Is he still upset about the insults and rude nicknames I used to give him?

"Well, ever since we became friends and got along pretty well. I..I..sorta, kind of, uhh, beginning to..li..li..li.." He couldn't spit it out for a moment. "The thing is.. I..I.." Once he stared at Marinette and almost froze. "D-Do you..want to..t-to.." He stammered and accidentally spat out, "..Tell me what the date today is or what?!"

Marinette blinked and stood there in shock and confusion. That's the thing he wanted to say to me that was so private? "Um, 16th of July..? Why?" She pretended to buy it anyway.

With her question, he just realized what he had said. "G-Gah! N-No! That's what I was meaning to say! I-" Suddenly, a loud bang went into the room as a hand slammed itself against the table's desk. All students went silent and turned their attention towards its source to find René standing there with his regular cold expression.

"Okay, listen up, brats. I want everyone in this room back to their seats according to the seat arrangement I gave you."

Everyone didn't bother to make a sound since he is probably the most scariest and strict teacher in the whole world. Leroy and Abigail show no fear in him since they know him very well but since they're his students, they have to follow.
