"Y/N!" Jescilla catches up to me at the front of SFMS. "Hiro explained everything. Y'know - about Laura and the rose..."

"Yeah he told me everything as well. Thank God that it's a chocolate rose and not a real one," I laugh. We continue to leave campus and talk more about Valentine's Day and other subjects.

"Sooo is Lukas your Valentine?" I questioned. She paused and her lips slowly, gradually form into a wide smirk. "Yeah he asked me to be his Valentine just a few minutes ago to be honest. He has soccer tryouts today, so we couldn't talk for much longer." I never felt this happy for my best friend.

I gasped with great volume, which caused people to stare at the two of us, "Oh my gosh, Jescilla! Dude, I'm so happy for you." I tackle her with a hug.

She hugs back while giggling, "Thanks, N/N. Hiro told me that you had a talk with him after you ran out of the cafeteria...did things go down?" Yeah a lot of things went down. We confessed for the umpteenth time, he kissed me on the cheek and we said "I love you" to each other. I secretly wish that he would ask me out already...even though a lot is going on with Callaghan.

"Yeah we're in good condition now. We said 'I love you' to each other and we almost kissed until the bell rang." I answer.

"Awwh. You guys are super cute. I don't understand why S/N isn't official!" She squealed.

I can ask her the same question: "Why aren't Hiro and I a couple yet?"

I'm more than ready to leave the single world. I've been single for a over a year already, and I believe Hiro will change that.

"This is off topic, but my birthday is coming up in a few days, so maybe he has something planned out?" I observe.

Her mouth drops wide open. Oh yeah...I forgot to tell her that my birthday is around the corner. "Oh my Irene - I forgot your birthday is coming up! When is it?"

"February 28." (My apologizes if your birthday isn't on February XD)

She releases a sigh of relief, "Oh okay good. I still have time to create your birthday present." The word "create" causes me to raise an eyebrow.

"Create? You make your birthday gifts original?" I questioned. I mean - she is the artsy gal in the group, so it fits the puzzle after all.

"I always make gifts for my close friends." She smiled. We arrived at the curb of my house moments later.

"Homework hang out?" She asks.

I nodded as I walk up to the porch and unlock the front door.

Mom is busy with work as always and Marcela has cheer practice until 6:00, which means I'm usually by myself at home. Most of the time, Jescilla or any other of my close friends would do homework with me. Including Hiro of course...
