4:10 Hailee Padalecki & Will Sheppard & Max Sheppard
"I was wondering if the three of you could describe the relationship you have with each other? And if it's changed since Hailee started struggling?" the fan requests.
"Well Will is my little brother, we've been called young J2 with accents before," Max picks up a mic, "and Hailee and I have been best friends since Dad's first day on set."
Hailee picks up another mic and hands the last to Will, "I met Will when he was four and I was nine. He was a little kid to play with. And honestly, I still find myself being pretty protective of him. Heck, he's probably going to conk out on my shoulder again on the drive back home like he always does."
Max smirks, "You don't seem to mind that."
"Of course not. The drives back home from cons are always nice," Hailee smiles, "My dad and Uncle Jensen up front, I'm squished between you and your brother... It's generally pretty quiet as we're encouraged to sleep so we're not super tired for school the next day..."
"Oh, I don't know if we're riding back with you tonight," Max's eyebrows narrow.
"Why not?" Hailee asks.
"Because usually your dad drives us back while our dad does another panel, but as a Mark Sheppard panel got replaced by a T3 panel..." Max trails off.
"Oh. Yeah, I dunno. But hey, let's get back to the question," Hailee suggests.
"Alright. As for how things have changed.... It really hasn't. Hailee and I are still best friends. I guess I'm a lot more worried about her, and it's hard to see her hurting like this, but our relationship hasn't changed."
"Why are you worried about Hailee?" Will asks.
Hailee covers Will's ears, "Shh. Keep this one innocent."
"I've gotten into some dangerous spots," Hailee explains to Will, "But it's okay now. I figured out that I have to stay safe so I can be here for the people I care about. People like you."
Will cocks his head, "What kind of danger?"
"Don't worry about it. Hopefully you'll never completely understand that kind of danger," Hailee puts a hand on Will's shoulder then turns to the audience, "I've found my will to live. It's every one of you, and everyone around me. That's all I have, but... it's pretty powerful."
