"Hailee, what's the most recent dream you can remember?" the fan asks.
Hailee pulls a strand of hair behind her ear, "Not... A good dream."
"Sunday night?" Max asks.
Hailee nods, "So last week was VBS, and I was teaching first grade. Monday morning is always the busiest, because of all the paperwork and organizational stuff that has to be done, plus welcoming in the kids. So Monday morning you kinda have to be the most focused. So of course Sunday night is when I have the worst nightmare I've had in a while."
Max raises an eyebrow, "You've had worse?"
"About even," Hailee shrugs, "Anyway, Max got stabbed from behind in the neck, and I was on the phone with him as he was dying, begging him to hold on, meanwhile he was just accepting his fate. I called 911 to get people to go help him, got really frustrated when the people were just like 'Oh, we're going to dress up as shady characters and meet him in like a restaurant or something.' My dad woke me up to get ready, and... I kinda got freaked out. I sent a message to Max just saying 'Good morning.' and the dude didn't respond. So I was telling myself 'Oh he's probably just busy or still sleeping, he's fine.' I got to church about an hour later and sent him a message saying 'Please tell me you're okay.' HALF AN HOUR LATER he finally says 'Why would I not be?' So yeah, that answer your question?"
