As an impulse, Liam quickly placed his food down and stood up, waiting for Lela to walk off. As she made her way out of the building and headed to her car, Liam approached Chauncey as he stood aside and started rubbing his stomach.

"Uh........hey." Liam smiled.

Chauncey glanced at Liam, giving him a weird and disturbed look.

"Hey?" Chauncey mumbled.

"I'm Liam." Liam nodded, placing his hand out to her.

"Chauncey." Chauncey mumbled.

Chauncey paused, closing his eyes and shaking Liam's hand.

"I mean, Tina." Chauncey scoffed, correcting himself. "My names Tina."

Liam's eyes widened in disbelief. That was one confirmation that Tina might not have been lying back at the camp in Hong Kong. Still, Liam wanted to dig deeper and ask certain questions to see how "Tina" would react.

"I just came over here to say that um......you look beautiful." Liam smiled.

"Thanks." Chauncey said in an uninterested tone, looking away as he placed his elbows on the rail behind him in the food store.

"Do you um.....know someone named Chauncey?" Liam asked. "Speaking of him?"

"Yeah?" Chauncey groaned. "Why?"

"Because Tina.......um......a friend.." Liam paused.

"A friend what?"

"A friend wanted to know, that's all."

As a few people stood in line to get their items, Liam continued to press Chauncey.

"You looked beautiful in the picture that I saw of you and Ti....Chau.....the picture that I saw of you..." Liam stuttered. "The one you showed me on....uh...."

Chauncey gave him an agitated look, grilling him with his eyes.

"What?" Chauncey scowled, rolling his eyes a little.

"I-"

"Wait wait wait, how the hell did you even see me?" Chauncey scowled again. "I've never even met you."

"Tina's" beauty was so ravaging that Liam was getting tongue tied. He placed his hand on the back of his neck, glancing out of the large store window.

"I was wondering if I could get your number." Liam asked in a nervous tone.

"Look, can't you see that I'm pregnant?" Chauncey scoffed as he placed his hands out. "Don't that give you some sort of suggestion that I'm already in a relationship?"

"Oh I'm sorry I-I-I-"

"If I give you my number, will you lemme' alone?" Chauncey interrupted.

Liam cracked a small smile, rubbing the back of his own head.

"Sure." Liam nodded.

Chauncey snatched Liam's phone, placed his number on it, and handed it back to him. The more that Chauncey dealt with guys, the more he was starting to realize that the "liking" boys phase he had was done. He figured that he was probably in a trans at the time and felt vulnerable, but now he missed picking up girls from left to right. Seconds after their conversation, Chauncey's number was called.

"Number 7, your order is ready!" The lady at the front counter called out.

Chauncey glanced at Liam as he grabbed his bag, walking off.
