From their window, the window also watched as Adam was killed. As the guards buried him, Kendle glanced out of the window with tears in her eyes, wondering what was going on. She shook her head, turning back at the women in confusion.

"Why the hell did they kill him?" Kendle asked in confusion as tears ran down her eyes.

"That's what I was wondering." One of the women added. "I thought that he was sick?"

Sam scrunched her eyebrows as she peeked out of the window in confusion also. As the guards who weren't burying Adam walked back into the building, Sam stared off into space.

"Did they do a mercy killing?" Sam asked.

"Now you know that they don't do mercy killings, Sam." One of the women sighed. "They let you suffer before you go out."

The women sat in their cramped bunk, sitting and wondering what was going on. 5 minutes later, they heard the noise of the unlocking door to their rooms. When the light shined inside, they saw Lucillia standing in the doorway.

"Lucillia!" Leona cheered as she jumped off of her top bunk.

"Lona!" Lucillia squealed as she jumped around.

Leona crouched down and hugged Lucillia as tight as she could, trying not to tear up about the fact that she thought she would never see her again. The guards gave everyone angry glares as they prepared to leave.

"A man confessed to killing the guards, and he was shot dead afterwards." One of the guards growled. "Think about that before any of you try anything stupid."

"He didn't kill-"

Kendle paused as she stared off into space, plopping back onto the bed. As the guards shut the door, Sam and Kendle gazed down at the ground as Leona helped Lucillia up onto her top bunk.

"Come on, Lucillia." Leona said as they bundled on the top bunk with an extra woman. "Let's get ready for bed."

Kendle looked off with her mouth creaked open, shaking her head.

"I........Adam confessed to save Lucillia's life.." Kendle whispered. "I got him killed...."

Leona stared down at Sam in disgust, waiting to see an ounce of remorse from her.

"I hope you feel good about yourself, Sam." Leona growled.

"At the fact that I killed a guard to help the ungrateful bitches in this room?" Sam smiled. "Of course!"

"That's not the point, Sam!" Leona snarled. "The point is you were willing to let Lucillia die for YOUR actions-"

"We had this conversation two days ago, and now she's alive." Sam snarled as she turned in her bed. "Be fucking grateful, shut the fuck up, and go to bed Leona."

Sam wasn't heartless, but she was someone that if she felt that she wasn't wrong, there was no budging when it came to her decisions. Kendle turned and bundled under her covers as the women who slept with her shook their heads at her, lying down to go to bed.

"I'm sorry, Adam." Kendle whispered.

As Leona tucked Lucillia in next to her, the Irish woman slept on her top bunk, turning to Leona.

"Leona." Cheryl whispered.

"Yeah?"

"I never asked you this, but how'd you get here?" Cheryl asked in a low tone. "I know that you were kidnapped, but everyone has their own story. Y'know?"
