Shopping with Lissa

"Where were you?",Lissa said, her hands on her hips.

"There's so much traffic on the road Lis!",I replied back, exasperated.

There really is a lot of traffic on roads these days. Population rise!

"Anyhow, since you finally got yourself here, let's shop!", Lissa squealed!

It's Saturday, so Lissa and I made a plan to "shop-till-you-drop". In Lissa's words.

Chloe couldn't make it as her relatives were here.

So we decided to shop first then hit the spa.

We had a whole day ahead.

"So let's go! What are we waiting for?", Lissa said, jumping excitedly.

I laughed at her excitement, as we entered the mall.

Currently we were sitting in the spa getting our nails done.

"So Cee? ", Lissa said, in a rather suspicious tone.

"What?",I asked ,her viewing my right hand nails, which were just manicured.

"Don't you have anything to confess?", she asked smirking.

"What are you talking about Lis?",I ask, narrowing my eyes at her.

Something fishy is running in her head!

"Duh!", Lissa said, as she turned her head towards me.
"Anything about William? ",she continued wiggling her eyebrows.

If it wasn't was for the my hands getting manicured, I would've jumped on her and strangled her.

"Lis!", I almost shout," just because he talked me doesn't mean we're a thing!"

Lissa just laughed and said," I wasn't talking about being a thing or anything like that. I know how much of wooing you take!"

Uh... yes! My last boyfriend practically had to serenade me to saying yes!

"I'm talking about catching feelings.", Lissa continued.

I looked at her, dumbstruck.

"What are you saying, Lis? ", I stammered out.

"The way you looked at him, it certainly meant you felt something for him.", Lissa said, dramatically.

Cue my incredulous look.

"Lis, I am not catching anything here!", I say exasperated.

"Come on, Cee! You can be frank with me,"

"No seriously Lis, where did this come from?", I asked her, my eyes wide.

She gave me a flat look," Grace Allison Whittaker, you should know by now that this girl named Lissa Reagan Pennington, is a love expert!"

I laugh and reply, " I really hate William !"

She gave me a smirk and said, "Let's see!"
