Everyone's Favorite Holiday

"I'm ready to go home." You complained for the hundredth time.
"You promised to help me with the filming." Matthew said with his puppy dog eyes.
"Why must you guilt me?"
"Guilt you? I'm giving you the blessing of socializing with me. What else would you be doing right now? Crying into a tub of ice cream while watching romance movies. I am not letting my fave person do that. No, no, no. Now turn that lamp on for me I need more lighting."
Thus you spent the rest of your valentine's day helping Matthew. You thought this would be the worst day till Matthew decided to let you in front of the camera to vent with him. You had to admit, your valentine's day could have been worse. Having Matthew around honestly was very healthy for you. He made you get out and take life by the hand and get moving. It also didn't hurt that he had a lot of cute friends. It would've been nice to do couple things with someone for a change though this depressing holiday.
"I need to film a blog videos as well. Would you care to join? Or is that tub of ice cream calling you home?"
As much as you loved Matthew and everything he's for you. That rocky road ice cream wasn't going to eat itself. So you called quits and went to your apartment. At ten o'clock you were on your third tub, holding back tears, and watching The Notebook. Then you heard the buzzer telling you someone was outside.
You cleared your throat and reluctantly got off your sofa to open the door.
"Can I-...Matthew? Who are these people?" You asked looking at the strangers around him.
"I met these fellow singletons while clogging and we brought pizza and ice cream to cry over and watch movies with you!"
You smiled happily.
"Normally I don't let strangers in, but I'll make an exception today." You smiled as you let everyone in. That's how your best friend Matthew Lush managed to do just the right thing to make the last two hours of the miserable holiday somewhat nice.
