La Luna (Robin De Noir Love Story)

Chapter 9: Are You Insane? Oh, Wait, Stupid Question.

''Jump.'' Robin ordered as we stood on the edge of the cliff.
''Are you insane?'' I asked, clearly terrified and annoyed.
''I'm serious, jump.''
''Why?''
''Because, if you are the 'dark moon princess as the story book said there would be, you can put an end to the moon princess.''
''Okay, but I still don't understand what jumping off a cliff has to do with that.''
''You don't have to understand.'' Robin said and without a second thought, pushed me off the cliff.
I wasn't stupid, I quickly grabbed his arm and he fell with me into the water.
It appeared that we had fallen quite a distance apart, or so it seemed because I could not see him anywhere. I was running out of breath, so I decided to resurface. The water was very dark and murky, I stretched my hand in front of me and felt something sharp. I swan a little forward, than upwards, only to hit my head. The last thing I remember was blacking out and sinking to the bottom of the ocean.

Robin's p.o.v

By now I had resurfaced and realized that I could not see Luna. I panicked. My father said that if she did not believe us about this 'Dark Moon Princess' stuff, I was to get rid of her. It was all a lie, well, except for the part about her mother, that was true, but her father really was Sir Benjamin Merryweather, her mom just made a mistake.
''Luna!'' I called. I still didn't see her.
I decided to swim down, not caring how long I had to look for, I was going to find her, if it was the last thing that I did. I looked left and right, then I saw her, she was deeper down than I had expected. Luna was lying on the sand, the ocean floor. I needed to save her. I swan deeper and deeper until I finally reached her. I yanked her up and out of the water. She wasn't breathing. That was a problem.
''Luna, Luna, please, breath.'' I begged and pressed down on her stomach. Nothing. I felt like crying. This was all my fault.
I lay down next to her on the sand and leaned down. Her skin was so pale in the moonlight, and the moisture in her hair made it appear black. I needed her to live. I leaned further down, until our lips connected. I blew into her mouth countless times, but she didn't even stir. I actually started crying.
''Crying won't do you any good.'' Luna said. At first I thought that I was dreaming, but when I looked at her and saw her eyes open I couldn't help but pull her into my arms and hug her. Even if she was wet, I couldn't help but be happy that she was alive.
''Luna. You're alright.'' I beamed, hugging her even tighter.
''Um...'' Luna said. I realized what I was doing and released her, I felt my face turning red.

Luna's p.o.v

I was so cold.
''You're so pale.'' Robin told me and put a hand on my cheek.
''Come on, I need to get you out of here.''
''Why?''
''Well, if I take you to my father, he will be able to fix you up.''
Robin leaned down next to me and picked me up bridal style. I felt so weak.
''Wait, Robin.'' I said.
''Yes, what is it?''
''There's a...a easier way.'' I said shivering.
''To do what?''
I whistled and out of the ocean appeared a black unicorn. The droplets of water clinging to it made it appear to be shimmering.
''We can ride...ride...Selena.'' I said and clung tighter to Robin, who was my only source of warmth.
Robin put me down first, than climbed on himself. I felt numb. The coldness was surrounding me, I could feel it.
''Go to De Noir lands.'' Robin ordered and Selena sped off.
I had a question buzzing in my mind. Did Robin kiss me? It was strange that I thought he did. I needed to confront him, but I was going to tell him slowly.
''Robin? Did you kiss me?'' I asked and felt like slapping myself. I tried to make it come out slowly, but it just wouldn't.
''What? No. I tried to get you to breath again.''
''Oh, why? You were the reason that all this happened in the first place.''
''Look, I'm sorry.''
''It's alright.'' I said as my eyes began to close.
I had to say what was in my head. I wouldn't allow myself to say what I had in my head, but it wasn't up to me, my mouth took control. ''Robin, I love you.'' I said before drifting into an unconscious sleep.
