Chapter 13: Epilogue

Robin's p.o.v

''You love her don't you?'' Maria asked me as I sat with her in Merryweather Manor.
It had been a few weeks since Luna disappeared.
''Who?'' I asked, than I realized that it was the stupidest question.
''Don't be daft, Robin. I'm talking about Luna.''
''Oh, you finally realized that. After weeks of searching, you only now figure out that I am in love with her. Does that answer your question?''
Maria nodded, and I sighed. I had searched for her for ages, but I just could not find her.
''I know that I should have told you this when Luna disappeared.'' Maria said.
I felt a little bit of hope inside of me, but I wanted to hear what she was going to say.
''You should ask Marmaduke, the cook. They were, from what I understand, really close. If anyone knows where she is, it's Marmaduke.''
At those words, I jolted up from my seat and went to find Marmaduke.
''Mar...Marmaduke. Thank goodness I found you, I was wondering...''
''Where Luna went?''
''Yes, do you know where she is?''
''Yes.''
''Great, could you tell me?''
''No.''
''Why not?''
''Well, when she left, she gave me a note, it told me where she was going, what she was taking and who not to tell.''
''Please, I love her.''
''Ahh, I knew it. Obvious actually, but on the list of people not to tell, you were first.''
''Marmaduke, please!'' I begged.
''Well, only because I know that she loves you too.''
I smirked, I wasn't the only one who felt this spark between us.
''She went to the hollow.''
''The hollow?'' At first I had no idea about what he was talking about.
''That's all I'm saying, now leave. Oh, but coconut cookie, before you leave.''
I turned his offer down and left the kitchen.
'The hollow. The hollow.' I kept repeating that in my head. Suddenly it struck me like lightning. The hollow, the tree that the pearls were hidden in. When Maria and I went to search for the pearls there, there was a bag full of clothes that I recognized. That was Luna's bag. I ran as fast as I could to the tree. When I arrived I did not hesitate to open the door. At that moment, Luna seemed to be changing. She, unlike other girls her age, wore a bra and undies, not an entire outfit underneath. My eyes widened, that was not what I was expecting to walk in on. Luna wasn't facing me at that time, but when she turned around and caught him starring it was a different story.

Luna's p.o.v

I was just changing, when I felt my neck prickle as of someone was watching me. I turned around and saw Robin.
''Robin!?'' I yelled at him. I quickly pulled on a gown.
''Robin what are you--'' I was cut off by Robin's soft lips on mine.
I quickly pushed him away. He just couldn't do that. Firstly, he is in love with my cousin which breaks my heart, and secondly, he doesn't even come to look for me when I disappear and all of a sudden he is here in my 'room'. And, I almost forgot, thirdly, he just suddenly wants me. That pervert.
''Robin, what are you doing, why are you here?''
''Okay, well. I'm kissing you and I'm here because I love you.''
''No, you don't and I don't want you here, so leave.''
''What? I was under the impression that you loved me back.''
''Listen, Robin, I'm going to be completely honest here, I loved you, but than I realized that you didn't love me.''
''What are you talking about?'' Robin asked and grabbed my arms. I didn't fight him, he was stronger than me so it was no use. He ducked down a slight bit so he was my height.
''Don't touch me, you oaf.''
He released me.
''Luna, why?'' He asked me.
''You don't care about me, you never have.''
''I do care, I always have. Ever since I found you asleep on my bed, I've been in love with you.''
I began to believe him, but I wanted proof. ''Oh yeah, prove it.'' I said and smirked.
Robin rolled his eyes and kissed me. This time I kissed back. I couldn't help it, I knew that I was in love with him. But, I just had to take this chance to do the one thing that I've always wanted to do.
''Robin, wait.'' I said. I couldn't resist, I just had to take this opportunity.
Robin looked at me, hands still on my waist and he looked into my eyes. I looked back at him and smirked.
''Finally.'' I said.
I moved closer to him, if that was even possible and knocked his hat off.
''Finally.'' I repeated. ''I've always wanted to do that.''
''Seriously? What if I've always wanted to do this?'' Robin picked me up and looked into my eyes. I smiled brightly at him. He put me down then moved closer to me, forcing me backwards and into the wall. Robin than kissed me as if his life depended on it. He took off his scarf and out it around my waist
''I love you.'' Robin said to me.
''I love you more.'' I replied.
''Not possible.''
We continued kissing when I realized that this is what I wanted. I have never wanted anyone or anything more than I want Robin right now.
