Alex's POV

Tobin is finally released from the hospital and so is her sister. It's a relief that they're both alright considering that both of been have been through a lot these past couple days.

"How are you?" I ask Tobin as she sits down on her couch.

"Exhausted." She replies as I sit down next to her.

"I'm really glad you're okay, Tobin. I really am." I say as I move the hair away from her face.

Tobin just nods and then it goes silent between the two of us.

"You make me feel whole, Alex." Tobin whispers as she leans against me.

"Good." I whisper in her ear. We stay like that for what feels like hours before I leave so she can rest.

I get into my car and checked my phone and see I have a missed call. I decide to call the number back.

The phone rings once and the person on the other end answers.

"Hello?"

"Is this Alex Morgan?" A female voice asks.

"This is she." I say, confused.

"Servando Carrasco requested a bail and he wanted us to call you." The woman on the other end says. My eyes widen.

Why would he call me, of all people? I'm confused, I'm angry. I don't want anything to do with him.

I thought about it for a few minutes before I hang up the phone and drive to the police station. I don't know why I'm driving down there, I don't know why I'm doing it in the first place.

When I get to the police station, I park my car and slowly walk inside. I sign a few papers before they bring Servando out with all of his stuff in a plastic bag.

"I didn't think you'd actually bail me out." He mumbles.

"It was the right thing to do." I say quietly without making any eye contact with him.

"Under one condition."

"What?" He asks.

"You are not allowed to be near Tobin and her sister, understand? Or I swear to god I'll kill you myself."

"You don't have what it takes, Morgan."

I shove him against the wall and press my arm against his chest.

"I bailed you out, stay away from them." I say. I look him in the eyes and finally I look away.

"Geez, I was only kidding." He replies before I take a step away from him.

I end up driving him home and I only hope I did the right thing, but I begin to rethink my actions.

He nearly killed the person I love most, and nearly beat Tobin's sister to death.

Is bailing him out really the right thing to do?
