Chapter two- Average day

Emma's POV

Chapter two:

I just hate the feeling of school. The people, the drama, the guys, the teachers and getting to school at 8:30! I wasn't looking forward to this. Me and Emily were in the same home room since we were little, and we both want the same career lives so we were basically together in everything. We both want to be successful business women as housing agents.

We got to our home room and we had the same boring old Miss Berry. She wasn't strict but she wasn't nice either, all she talked about was the news even though she was a middle-aged woman suppose to be having fun. Her long blonde hair was straightened today and her blue eyes lit up in the dim room.

"Sit down girlies! I hope you had a nice restful break! Here are your schedules for the semester." She said handing us our timetable.

I scanned it carefully happy that I got what I chose. I snatched Emily's and looked at hers. Yes! We had Monday, Tuesday, half Wednesday and Thursday and Friday together! We looked a each other smirking.

"I can't believe it!" We both started giggling. First we had Calculus with Mr Heft, he was okay but I knew we'd get through it. The clock was ticking slowly, we had home room until 9:00 and we still had ten minutes left. I looked over at Emily, and she was sleeping for the time being, it's like she never has enough sleep. Her black hair covered her pale skin , she was so pretty! I mean I never thought myself as beautiful, but I didn't think I was ugly either. The bell rang waking up my best friend. I grabbed her hand and took her out of the classroom. The halls filled up quickly and I recognised a lot of faces, one of them being Tristen Stanton, Emily's boyfriend. They've been together since the start of the beginning year. They are so cute, especially since they're both short! His hazel eyes lit up looking at her and he went to hug her.

"I missed you babe! What lesson have you got now?" He asked her admiring her. They only saw each other on Saturday! Gosh, so mushy ergh.

"awww me too! I've got Calculus now." She said after pinching his cheeks.

He laughed," Me too Em!" Great now they're going to ditch me for each other. I sighed and their conversation droned out as I looked at Jared Jackson. He has changed! He's sooo hot! He's so much more built up and more .... Sexier. His black hair was a little spiked up and his brown eyes sparkled as he did the weird handshake with his friends. He was a little more tanned which gave the impression he went somewhere hot for the Christmas break. Lucky him, I mean his parents spoilt him rotten! Haven't I told you? They are the owners of Nike and Gucci! Yep they were the definition of rich! I zoned out imagining me in his hands, but I got out of it as Emily clicked her fingers in front of me.

"Come on Emma! You totally zoned out again! You need to talk to him if you're so interested in him..." She went on and on but we finally got to our lesson. I sat at the back on my own with Emily and Tristen on the table next to me.

"Since you have all had a break, you're probably still asleep, so I'll give you a worksheet, not hard but I want you to finish it by the end of lesson or you aren't going to lunch!" Mr Heft said firmly. He gave it out and surprisingly it was very easy! I finished it by break time and went out with the lovebirds. We normally chill at the canteen eating junk food but we never had time to go to the shop this morning. So we just talked about stuff but again I just stared at my crush! He was talking to his mates, two of the, being the plastic bitches who thought they were pretty but really, they were full of fake make up. Ergh. He stared right into my eyes and then he winked. I quickly looked away. He winked at me! But he probably did that to everyone said my conscience! I felt a blush coming right to my cheeks and I suddenly felt really hot.

"I soooo saw that! OMG EMMA , he likes you ! He likes youu!" Emily screamed at me! I rolled my eyes because I couldn't speak, for the first time I actually believed her. I felt quite thirsty so I went to the water fountain and got a plastic cup pouring some cold water and sipping it. It felt so nice to drink something cold and slowly I could feel my blush going.

"So how come I never seen a pretty girl around eh?" Said the person who scared me! I looked around. And saw THE Jared. OMG he called me pretty. I thought my heart was going to pound out of my chest. I put my hand on my chest. "Why did you scare me like that you asshole! What if I died eh?" I said mimicking his eh?

"Don't be so dramatic babe. You never answered my question anyway." He said laughing.

"Don't call me that! Maybe you don't look hard enough then!" I scowled at him. This boy didn't deserve my nice attitude because he would just take advantage of it but it killed because I liked him so much.

He laughed again,"Why? Does someone else call you babe. Boyfriend? And well I looked hard today and I found someone you." He said pouting. He looked so adorable I wanted to pinch his cheeks! I blushed furiously.

"Well no I don't have a boyfriend, but don't call me that!" I mumbled embarrassed I've never had a boyfriend. He smiled, he actually gave me a genuine smile! The bell rang so I used that as an excuse. "well .. I'm going to lesson so bye."

"Talk to you later princess." And then he winked again. No surprise there! I think I heard him mumble under his breath, 'how can she not have a boyfriend?' but then again I never heard him clearly. I went back to lesson and sat in my seat. I waited for Emily to come back to lesson and seconds later she did.

"OMG! Jared was talking to you. You don't know how good YOU TOO LOOKED FROM THERE! OMG what did he say!!" She screamed again. But I was glad she was happy for me.

"I'll tell you at lunch." I said laughing. She giggled and said ,"The sexgod and Emma, never!"

"I feel offended, I mean you have you're boyfriend but you're calling someone else sexy." Tristen said to her.

"But I love you more obviously." Then they leaned in for a kiss. They are soooo cute!!
