Chapter six- Scared

Chapter 6:-

Me and Emily rushed home. Well, let me correct that, she dragged me all the way home, eager to find out what was happening. So when we got home, we took our shoes and coats up and hanged it up before racing upstairs and in my bedroom. Obviously, the anticipation was killing her.

"Calm down Em!" I told her chuckling.

"BUT WHAT DID HE SAY?!" She yet again screams. I smile,thinking about how I got him to repeat what he said. "Guess."

"Emmmaaaaaaa." She wines, signalling she wanted the story. "Fine." I mutter under my breath. I tell her the whole story, from the mini argument, 'beautiful' and the asking out.

"ARGHHHH! Oh Em Jee! The plan is so going to work!" She yelled. I was happy too but not so excited. I had butterflies in my stomach, what if the date didn't go right? What if I didn't give him what he wanted? What if he ran straight back to Lily? I wonder what he was thinking now. I was so into my thoughts I never noticed my phone buzz. Em looked at the phone, and stared at me with a eyebrow up.

"Seriously? JJ? You so need a better name than that!" She exclaimed! I blushed. I didn't know what to write. Jaro, Jared, baby?

"Friday, 6:30 sharp, warm clothing." Em read. She screamed. "I CANT BELIEVE ITS HAPPENING'about time."

I laughed at her enthusiasm. Then someone knocked on my door. My mum peeked round he corner, with a plate of sandwiches, and a bowl of crisps and snacks and two pop drinks.

"You girls came upstairs and didn't eat. You not hungry?" She asked us.

Emily nodded! "Aw thanks Sandra, nice to know you still care about our hungry stomachs!"

"Pleasure darling." She replied after putting our food on the bedside table, and she quietly crept out of the room. Em tucked in the food and I grabbed a couple of crisps while telling to his text.

I can't wait :) no clue where we r going?xx

I showed it to Emily for confirmation before pressing send. We ate the food for awhile when he text me back. Quick reply for a guy.

My heart warmed at the smile. "Show me!" Emily said with food in her mouth, disgusting. Never the less, I still turned the phone round and showed her the phone. She put her hand on her heart. "Awwwww so cute!" She cooed.

Releasing she was not changed she went back home. Great I was on my own. It got dark pretty quick so she was probably just going to stay at her house. The wind howled in the dark and then in heard a knock on my balcony door. I slowly looked at it and it was Jared. What was he hear for?i opened the door for him.

"Hey! I said I'd see you soon right?" He says , grinning. A grin that makes my insides turn. The same grin I'd use to fall for everytime.... And I still do. But he was shivering, what a idiot it was so cold.

I pulled him in, closing the door. Quickly I got a blanket out from my wardrobe and put it around him. Slapping him in the process. "You could have got yourself sick!" I shouted.

"Just... Just hug me please." He said. I hugged him. It wasn't a relationship kind of hug but it was still friendly. Enough for me. I smiled as I squeezed him abit more, trying to give him my body heat. We crept in the bed and put Happy Feet on. I loved that movie. It reminded me of me and him.

I fell asleep with him in my arms, and I wouldn't change a thing about today. It was perfect.

The next morning, I tried to check what time it was but something was stopping me. I felt all over and my hand landed on a hard chest. I opened my eyes but quickly closed it. Memories from last night came back. Watching the movie and then drifted off to sleep. But when did he take his shirt off? What if my mum came in? Groaning, I pushed him off the bed and he landed with a THUMP.

" What on earth was that for?" He screamed. I regret looking at him. He looked so sexy with no top on and his sexy morning hair.

"My mum might walked in on us! Get out quick!" I half whispered half shouted. I three his clothes at him and he looked so cute pouting and rushing to put stuff on. I opened the balcony door and hurried him out before closing it again. I checked the time, and it read 7:00. I was so late.

I ran to the bathroom and brushed my teeth and washed my hair. I did my hair into a messy bun and just got the first stuff from my wardrobe which was light blue wash jeans and a pink Nike jumper and to finish it off I put my white converse on. I applied some mascara and lipgloss and got my bag and phone.Knowing I had little time , I munched on some apple and then went out. I was so surprised Emily was outside with her brother, since when did she get up early?

"Morning Liam! Morning Em!" I say smiling. They both smiled back. Emily giving me a look though. What was her problem?

"Morning babe! Why you so happy today? Someone special text you?" Liam asked while patting my hair. To be honest I never checked my phone today. I shook my head at him and jumped in the car.

"Why don't you go at the front today?" Liam asked winking. Why was he acting weird today?

"Okay!" I said unsure. I got out and went in the front passengers seat and fastened my seatbelt. When Liam started driving, there was a few minutes of Awkward silence. Then Emily spoke.

"Well Mee, how come I saw Jared coming out of your balcony this morning? Ditched me for him did you?" She rambled on. I waited until she finished.

"Listen! I never ditched you, you just didn't come back so that's why I let him in last night. We were watching a movie and then we fell asleep, nothing more nothing less." I said looking into her eyes. She laughed!

"I was only kidding! So I want details later when Liam isn't here obviously!" Emily beamed enthusiastically. I nodded smiling at her reaction. Liam pouted, "Not fair." He said upset.

"Well there's just something's that you can't know." Emily replied to her brother. They got into a conversation while I just daydreamed. I wonder how today was going to be. We got there and me and Emily got out of the car and she has a Sports bag she always had with her.

" Em! Omg I forgot my kit!" I cursed. She laughed noticing my panicked expression.

"S'okay! We have Mr Andrews. That fit blue eyed young teacher who has a soft spot for you. Remember?" Emily said pointing at me. I relaxed at that but still didn't feel too happy about it. Coach Andrews was always nice to be and complementing me since he started the school . So when we walked in the Pe department and I told him what happened , this is how he replied.

"Oh it's fine lovely! Your dressed appropriately so you can do volleyball in that." He said his eyes sparkling. I forced a smile back . Sometimes he scared me at how much he was nice to me because when Lily said she forgot hers,

"Well you'll just have to borrow kit! I'm disappointed in you Lily! You should know better. Now hurry along and get changed."

Emily quickly got changed. "We get to pick our own teams!" she chirped happily. I nodded, "Thats good! I hate volleyball but you know how accurate my aiming is."

"ooooh yes! Lily got it coming for her." Emily said chuckling. When we were about to go inside the sports hall, the schools speakers came on and the head teacher Mr Robson spoke.

"Can Emma West make her way to my office please." My heart stopped beating. Why did he want me? What did I do?Did something happened to my parents? I gulped, I'd only find out if I went so I made my way to his office.
