Chapter 5

I woke with Emily squashing me at the edge of my double bed. I leaned over , careful not to wake her and checked the clock. It read 5:37 , I lay back , knowing I still had time to sleep. I loved sleep soo much. Thoughts ran over my mind, like how Jared got my number, and how he smiles more. I think about what Lily was planning and how we only had a few months left until prom. Time flies so much. I drifted off to sleep for abit when the alarm clock went off at 6:30 , annoyed because I wanted to sleep, I stomped out of my bed, and walked to the suite, switching on the hot water.

I brushed my teeth and washed my face. I couldn't do my hair again today so I left it, brushing it and putting it in a bun, I went in the shower. I washed myself with my favourite strawberry&cream body wash and then got out. I applied Baby lotion on my body, and put my bath robe on. Running to the bed, I started jumping on up and down, and screaming for Emily to wake up. After a few minutes, she finally did, and grumbled something under her breath. Sighing, I checked my wardrobe for an outfit, floral high-waisted shorts(with tights), white bandeau and a hot pink cardigan, and long leather boots. Taking the bun of my hair, I sprayed some Tresemme shampoo and conditioner spray and brushed my long wavy hair. I decided to go with a simple ponytail since I wasn't in the mood. I applied some lipgloss and mascara and concealer. I don't usually wear concealer but I needed it because of my late night movie with Em.

Emily finally got out of the shower and went with silk button-up blouse,high waisted pink shorts with white polka dots, beige jacket(which was simple yet classy) and suede pumps. My friend had matched a couple of bracelets along with a adorable skull ring, and left her hair curly. She put on concealer, mascara, eyeliner and red lipstick. Her eyes were really bright today so I told her. "You're eyes are brighter today' you look perf baby."

"Aw thankyouuuu! So do you, even though you look perf everyday." She tells me chuckling. I laughter lightly not believing her. We both put Angel perfume on and went downstairs. My mum and dad greeted us with breakfast on the table. It wasn't much, cereal, toast, croissants, eggs. I was surprised, my mum doesn't really like to get up early and cook. "Mum! You woke up today!" I asked gasping. She rolled her eyes at me.

"Don't look so shocked! There's a guest, so I thought I should make an effort." I chuckled slightly Em and I sat down. I filled my plate and started to eat.

"You shouldn't have Mrs West- I mean Sandra!" Emily managed to say, while eating her Coco Pops. I ate and finished my orange juice. My phone buzzed in my bag so I took it out. It was from Jared.

I'm picking you up, we live on the same street( it just makes sense princess)

Shocked, I silently wondered how I never noticed. But then it came to me. All them parties and loud music! It was him. I nudged Emily, and whispered, " Can you're brother take you today? I mean Jared is giving me a ride." She smiled.

" Course! Just ditch me why don't you? She said sarcastically.

"Ditch Emily for who?" My mum asked. I mentally prepared myself for my mums excitement. "Awww a boy! Who is he? What's his name? Do we know him?" My mum cooed. Hearing a horn outside, I silently thanked Jared for the right time and rushed outside to grab the helmet of him and sit on the bike. I could see Emily going off to her brother.

Jared smirked. "You've couldn't wait to get on, could we?"

"Oh shut up, and drive." I said. We drove to school and I got off, not wanting anymore of the girls giving me looks. There was an awkward silence between us but he spoke, " I was surprised you let me take you, I thought you wouldn't -" I stopped it midway.
