Ryan's P.O.V
"Your mother left you! She doesn't want you and that's why you're here" I heard faintly *KICK*
"You're nothing but a freak, I bet you had to beg her to adopt you" the voice got louder *SLAP*
"They never loved you" the voice boomed, I opened my eyes and gasped. I was alone...again. Something was in my hand, a necklace with a key on it. Tears pour uncontrollably down my face but I made no sound. Not because I can't but because I was forced not to.
There was a knock at the door, the room suddenly turned brighter, temporarily blinding me. I closed my eyes for a minute and waited for someone to hit me.
"Sweety? You can open your eyes" I heard Juno's voice. I learned that she's my nurse, she's nice...
I opened my eyes slowly and saw food on the table.
"You know what to do" Juno smiled as she moved the table closer. I looked at the big plate of food, some I don't remember ever eating, some I do. I pointed at the bread and milk.
"You ate that yesterday baby boy, try something else" she said. I turned back to the plate and looked at the other foods, a few minutes later, I unwillingly settled on something called grilled chicken. Juno smiled and picked up the big piece of chicken and started to cut it up. She fed it to me slowly and it didn't taste bad. After I finished, she wiped my face gently with a wet towel and pulled my blanket down. I shivered at the coldness of the room.
"Sorry sweety, I have to change the bandages" she says, something about her voice sounds...sad?
I winced as she took off my shirt, revealing the red bandages on the side of my chest.
"Oh boy...this is going to hurt" she admits. I looked away as she took off the bandages. When I looked back, I saw very purple spots and more blood. "Honey, don't look" Juno says moving my head with her hand gently so I was looking at the wall. I jumped slightly when cold gels touched my skin, the pain got better and soon I had a new white bandage covering the purple spot.
"All done!" Juno says putting my shirt back on me. She gave me a kiss on the cheek and patted my head. "Well...this is goodbye" she sounded sad again. I tilted my head slightly not understanding what she means.
"You're getting out tomorrow morning, I won't see you again" she says looking away. I don't get it...why does everyone leave me?
"Goodbye" I looked up and saw Juno by the door. I managed to wave bye bye to her before she left...and now I'm sitting here, all alone.
2 Days Later...
Riker's P.O.V
"Home sweet home" I breathed in the cold Colorado mountain air. We just got to the skiing resort and I've been dying to stretch my legs.
"I've never wanted to stretch my legs to bad" Ross says hopping out of the van. I laughed then went to grab my bags. We made our way to reception and got the keys to our cabin.
"I call the big bed!" Ryland says running first
"The hell you will!" Ross and Rocky yelled then chased after them. Rydel and I watched as they ran past the cabin and to god knows where.
"Think we should tell them they missed the cabin?" Rydel asks turning to me
"Eventually...but I want that big bed" I smiled devilishly then casually walked up to the cabin. After a while the guys finally came back and boy do they looked pissed.
