(Adrian ^^^)
6 years later
"Come on love, it'll be fine. You'll meet so many new friends," Harry begins, attempting to ease the small, 6-year old in front of him. Adrian is small for his age compared to the other 1st graders in his school. He has small curls forming on his head just like his father, glasses perched on top of his small nose, and mesmerizing brown eyes just like his mother. At some moments, Harry will look to his small angel and all he sees is the woman that shattered his heart and left him all alone, and he breaks. But without her, he would've never had this beautiful son.
"Do I have to?" Adrian ask, worry in his voice, he sounds as if he might cry at any second.
Harry kneels down to the small child and holds his face in his hands to look at those eyes. He swipes his thumb gently under Adrian's eye, wiping the forming tear.
"You'll be fine, I promise you. And after it's over, I'll be right here waiting for you and we can go home, okay?" He ask. The toddler shakes his head in defeat and gives his father a big hug, Harry holds the small child in his arms and whispers an 'I love you' before the toddler steps back and heads towards the big school with his teacher. Adrian turns his head and gives one last wave to Harry, Harry returns the wave and sees him disappear into the crowd of children.
He waits there for a few seconds before walking off and heading home. Harry had recently moved to Doncaster with Adrian a few days ago, so he wasn't familiar with any place other than his flat and Adrian's school, which was a convenient walking distance away from it.
He walks up the stairs and enters, taking off his boots at the door and locking the door behind him. Boxes were scattered around the flat because he hasn't had enough time to unpack since he's been working. Harry's mother, Anne, watched Adrian for the first few days so that Harry could start work and since today was Adrian's first day of school, he decided to take off work and begin on the house.
Box after box, he filled his room with his clothes and necessities and did the same with Adrian's room. He had a few minutes to spare before Adrian had to be picked up, so he decided to start on dinner. He picked his hair up and put on an apron. Placing the pot of water on the stove to boil and the chicken in the oven.
As the water begins to boil, he inserts the noodles and is interrupted when his phone begins ringing. He takes the pot off of high heat to low and walks over to the table. Picking up the phone, he sees his mothers beautiful face appear on the screen, he answers it with a smile on his face.
"Mom?"
"Sweetie! How are you?" She ask in a cheery tone.
"Good, almost time to pick Adrian up from school and I'm almost finished cooking."
"That's good, you know sweetie, if theres anything you need just ask, okay?"
Harry chuckles, he loves his mom to pieces. She was always there for him, supporting him and his sister Gemma through everything. She accepted him for who he was and helped him after the incident 6 years ago. Anne took him in and Harry admitted to her that he didn't see woman like every other man did. He came out to her and she accepted him, she was also grateful for the bundle of joy he brought with him. After a few months, Anne helped Harry get a job in Doncaster while she watched Adrian in Cheshire, afterwards helping him find the perfect flat for him and Adrian to live in until Harry was settled enough to buy a house in a few years for his growing angel.
"Yes mom, I'll talk to you later, I have to head out in a few minutes for Adrian, love ya."
"Love you too baby, tell Adrian I miss him!"
