The rain, I've seen in your eyes;
A subtle cloud of love around your hair.
Agony and aspirations take rise,
While you refuse to play it fair.
I am the snake, you are the charmer
Moving me with your sweetest voice;
Never you need to be sterner,
I hear your silence within the noise.
It is me who has been paired for you
Straight from the kingdom of light
And I fear, death (O Lord!), it's true
Yet one life with you, will bring eternal delight.
So, what does it matter, where I'll go?
You're still with me: right now, right here
And the red in your lips, never cease to show
The secrets it may hide, some fears!
How paralyzed can an admirer be
To have an optimal sight, yet not feel?
I have this Godly creation, in front of me
Whose 'heart-of-gold', I seek to steal.©himadri_chekanidhara
