The world is a peaceful place For everyone to explore. When evil is in your face, Ignore, but do not ignore. See the good that God has made, And receive it with delight. Let His love in you pervade, Knowing virtue is still right. Just as Jesus still is true, So is Justice in God's sight. Give your heart to Him, and do Whatever you know is right. - Joshua Aaron Guillory

Articles, on various themes (such as patience, guilt, purpose, love, anxiety, courage, etc.), investigating our experience of life in this world, and in the pursuit of virtue, peace of mind and wisdom. I will eventually make this into a coherent book,'but for now I am still simply writing articles and collecting thoughts and insights. My hope is that by writing these article, I can engage people in reflecting on the meaning of their own lives. These texts are not meant as entertainment, they are created to help. They have helped me and I hope some may resonate with you. I make this exercise as serious as I can, but a few idle texts are more or less trivial writing exercises. If you have subjects you would like me to explore and write on, by all means let me know. Your comments and interactions are welcomed. French is my first language, so if you have editorial recommendations, they are welcomed. Warm regards, The Taiji Student

Procrastination fails to kidnap me: I'm protected by my activity. Some are staying plain, marring their flavor, Far from done, with unsavory behavior. My life is clean, as a new-built machine, Still sweet in flavor, like a jellybean. - Joshua Aaron Guillory

The thoughts I think are all divine And of the Deity's design. My mind is made to side with His And voice to say what brings Him bliss. I'm sent in honor to uphold His righteous plan that's manifold. All praise to God for granting me Eternal life and liberty. - Joshua Aaron Guillory

Sharper than an axe, larger than a shark, The light of courage guards us from the dark. Dynamic healer of tremendous pain, Courageous wisdom overcomes disdain. Sagacious love overpowers fright, Devours hate and wicked spite by might. An acceptive proposal to obey Is godliness, including no dismay, Along with virtue, having vice entombed, The peace of God in every mind resumed. - Joshua Aaron Guillory

Another text-generated poem is cross-out. The Method is simple itself. All you need is a newspaper column (or other text), and a nice dark felt-tip pin. (and/or any writing utensil) The author basically designs his/her work but choosing out parts of the text (like words or phrases but not more than a sentence long) from numerous areas of the text that would go in oder. (in other words choose/do it from top to bottom) Then you would circle whatever pieces (snip-it's out of your text) you've chosen and draw a line from each word . (whatever pieces you choose from your text) Finally with the pieces of the text (that you didn't choose/want) you draw designs/color in that area/those areas so that you end up with only clearly seeing your words you've chosen from your text. You should end up with something like I have (but with different words chosen) This price is called "Living Standards". ---------------------- Enjoy it? Then you should comment, like or share my 1st pice of this poetry
