Why did she fight him so hard, when his warmth called out to her  cold body. it would be like walking in icy rain, then coming home to a cozy nest, one that shocked the system from sudden temperature changes. the skin prickling, shivers riding the body.

She felt his presence deep within her marrow, making her ache to tell him the dark secret of the vampire she hunted. no one knew why she hated them, only that she laughed in their faces. would she be able to tell him why? her resolve weakened minute by minute, until she ended up leaning against him, his continual silence making her last vestiges of control disappear. he knew she was conflicted, of course he did.

"Clara love," he sighed, arms wrapping around her ultra sensitive skin, the hairs where he touched prickling, trying to hold him to her. His muscles bulged as he exerted a tight rein of control over his urges to finally

claim what was his. he never tried, because she found a modicum of love in her late husband. would she rail against him if he told her he wasn't dead. that her vengeance was undeserved?

he knew she would hate him then, so why try to fight instincts that screamed inside him? to show the world she was his, no one else's. his special brand of Clara that the world never saw before. he saw her passion. Would it help if he claimed her, to keep her with him as much as was possible? he came to know terror at the blood that covered her last night, the blood of a powerful vampire. let alone to find that SHE was tainted by them! his beautiful innocent Clara
