My eyes open slowly. I automatically see my Phone. I army crawl over to my phone.
(1) Messages
It's from Phil. From when he was drugged. I click on the message. It's a video. A lump in the sheets of Dan's bed, moving up and down. I pause the video. Is this a sick joke? I force myself to continue. Two heads emerge, one being Candy Lynn, the other not being Dan. I turn my phone off and run out my door. I storm into Dan and Phil's apartment.
" Candy Lynn you slut!" I cry. No ones here. I check my Phone. It's Saturday. I look at the counter. Phil 's invite! I grab it and look for an address.
138 Meredith lane.
I race down the stairs without shoes, just my phone, some cash, and the invite. It's all I need. " TAXI!" I scream. One halts, I jump in. " 138 Meredith lane. Step on it." He nods and hits the gas.
~ 20 minutes in.~
"I'm sorry miss but we're in a traffic jam." He shrugs.
" How far away are we?"
" About 6 blocks. The lane isn't paved. you won't miss it." He smirks. I hand him a 20. " I only earned 5."
" Keep it. You deserve it." I thank him and run out the door. I weave through cars, and haul ass on the side walk. My feet ache, I don't even acknowledge. A crack of thunder, queues the rain. It's pouring cats and dogs. " Great," I keep running, going faster. I reach the road in record time. I see the manor, down a mile of gravel road. " I can go to the hospital." I mumble. I race down the road, every step hurting more. I block it out. I reach the doors, blood covering my feet, my hair soaked and chunks of dirt stuck in it, and i'm in 3 day old casual clothes. I push them open. Everyone turns in shock, taking attention away from the alter.
" Ellie?" Dan whispers. I keep my eyes locked with Candy's. Dan and Candy's family stare at me, horrified.
" Step away from Dan you bitch," I clench my fists. Everyone in the room gasps.
" Why are you here! You ruin everything!" She cries.
" Well, Candy Cane, You forgot about one Phone." I smirk.
" What are you talking about?!?" She starts to sweat.
" Well, This video would tell you," I pull out my Phone. Her eyes widen, her jaw drops. I click play. I put it on full volume, even though you could hear a pin drop in this room. Once the video finishes, Dan's lead out the door by Phil. Candy stormed out long before. Dan's parents look at me, smiling. They mouth, " Thank you." I smile. I disappear out the door, without another thought. The light disappears as the storm rages on, i'm still walking. I fall to the ground, and begin to sob. " What the hell was I thinking?" My phone begins to ring.
" Hello?" The voice on the other line sounds scratchy.
" H-hi." I answer.
" Where a-are you?" Dan asks.
" 138 Meredith lane." I sob.
" I'm coming." Dan hangs up the Phone. I crumble and curl up in a ball. What the hell was I thinking?

" Ellie?" I look up, Dan's eyes circled with red rings. He's still in his tux. I begin to break down. I get up and jump in his arms.
