After what happened on Saturday, she introduced herself as Danni. She didn't tell me much about herself before she apologized and rushed out of the toilets. It took me a few minutes to compromise what just happened before I left and went back out to sit with Isla. Swiftly checking Danni's table but she had left, leaving me to feel confused and empty.

Maybe it wasn't Danni I liked, maybe it was the fact that the thought of Brad was despersed, lost in the adrenaline. It could've been that I hadn't a clue what I was doing, she did take control in all. I wasn't sure whether to confide in my friend and ask for her opinion but I didn't want her to know about what just happened with Danni, just incase me and her see eachother again, I trusted Isla with my life but I didn't want to risk it.

I could feel Isla looking at me with a confused look on her face. "Care to tell me what happened in there?"

I sighed deeply so I had longer to think of an excuse, "My earring, it fell out. Couldn't find it anywhere, I got it now though." My voice sounded foreign and unsure, there was no way it was going to convince her. I slipped in a smile at the end and she returned one.

"Alright, you'd tell me if something was bothering you, right?" I wanted to tell her, I didn't want to hurt her but this had to stay between Danni and I.

"Nothing is bothering me." I actually genuinely smiled at that statement, because I realised that I was the happiest I have been for a while at that current moment.

She grabbed my hand a interwined our fingers before we stood to leave the coffee shop, getting a few curious glances from the other few customers. Me and Isla looked like a couple, but we definitely weren't.

Isla was like my sister, our parents had become friends while we attended nursery at the age of five. Whenever they would see eachother, we would too. As they grew up, our parents grew apart but I got closer with Isla. I had the same birthday as her and Felix and we all had the exact same music taste, we all told eachother everything. It was a friendship that I didn't want to let go of.

We continued strolling through town in silence, our fingered still interlocked together. It wasn't an uncomfortable silence, we were both just taking in the sight around us. The weather was beautiful, the sun was gleaming down and shining off shop windows, there wasn't one grey cloud in sight. It was nice.

Isla broke the silence when she awkwardly coughed to get my attention, I turned to look at her, "Hey so do you want to go and meet Felix and Tristan now?" She look nervous about something, scared to hear what I replied.

"Um, yeah of course, why not?" I questioned before raising my eyebrow at her.

"Well- basically... nothing don't worry." She quickly silenced herself but I thought nothing of it and shook it off, continuing the conversation.

"Soo... what's Tristan like?" I had a feeling she was upset about something so I changed the topic, "he must be something pretty special of Felix likes him enough to be with him, right?" She didn't look comfortable with the topic of Tristan for some reason and I didn't understand.

"He's nice yeah, I have a feeling you guys may have already met..." She wouldn't make contact with me which made me feel on edge about the whole situation. Why did everything just get so awkward?

"Really? I don't think we would've, I don't know a Tristan. What do you mean?" Now I was confused.  What was she talking about?

"Okay, we're meeting them here, before they arrive, you should know that-"

She was cut up short when I heard Felix yelling and turned to see him running toward us, "Hey! Found anyone special yet Em? How was your day? Is everything okay?" He shot tons of questions at me and it was overwhelming.
