"Thanks a bunch, keep the change." I shut the door in the pizza delivery guy's face before he could reply, pissed at his inconvenient timing.
I drifted back into the living room, half expecting to see Emily still on the couch but instead she was pacing back and forwards- rubbing her head as if in deep thought.
"I got pizza, come and sit."
She glared at me as if I had said something that angered her. "I should go, sorry to stay so late."
"Em, it's only 7?" She fiddled with her fingers before looking up and meeting my eyes.
"I shouldn't be here." This girl confused the Hell out of me. One minute she's willingly coming to my house and making out with me, and the next, she's treating me like none of the above happened. "I really need to go."
She spoke so emotionlessly, I guessed she really did want to leave. "Fine." Like a dog that got let off it's lead, she rushed to the door and walked out of it without even saying "bye".
