3: De ja vu

I'm thinking I'm experiencing drawing withdrawal right now... (don't question if that's a real thing, if anime withdrawal is real,and it is, drawing withdrawal is real) I'm partially posting these chapters so fast cause I'm trying to get my mind off of it .

"........."

"Hey excuse me"

"YOUR SLEEPING ON THE JOB AGAIN!!"

Your eyes shot open and you jumped out of your sleep clutching your chest.

"Huh!!" You said a bit in fright and immidately calmed down.

You blinked your eyes clearing the sleep out of it , and you seemed to freeze blocking out the sound of your boss scolding you.

'What the......'

"ARE YOU LISTENING TO ME!?!"

"Huh, uh y..yes , sorry it won't happen again"

"IT BETTER NOT" she said and went off in the back

You seemed to get lost in thought again.

"Ahem"

Your eye went to the skeleton in front of you.

'Hasn't this happened already?......what is going on? '

"Uh, you okay there bud?" He questioned a look of concern on his face

He was to kind, you noted as you relaxed back into your usual demeanor.

"Its a beautiful day outside isn't it?"

'If im correct he should be dead, yet here he is standing in front of me and I'm back at work.....' you lost in thought not hearing what he had said as your body moved on auto cashing his book and handing it back to him.

'......I don't know what's happening but this gives me a chance to actually do something' you think to yourself a new feeling sparking in you.

You were so busy in your thoughts you hadn't noticed when he left and said goodbye.

".......he left" you said softly to yourself and leaned against the counter staring out the window.....this would be your chance to save him.

Your shift ended and you ran straight home to get ready for your other job. You walked out your house with the uniform on and ran all the way to your meeting place.

You finally arrived and the moving truck was already there supplies ready to be taken into the restaurant.

"There you are we've been waiting for you!!" Your boss yelled

"Sorry....i..was-" you panted tired

"Save it were running behind schedule already" he said and began picking up the heavy crates and carrying them inside

You followed along also picking up a sack of rice and carried it inside slowly than the rest.

"Let's go pick up the pace (y/n), we ha e other stops to make!"

"Yea sir, sorry sir" you said in a monotone voice

You carried the sack inside and xame beck out and picked up one of the crates carrying it inside also. You did this for about two hours until everything was finished and you were exhausted.

"Okay everyone to the next stop!" He said as everyone climbed into the truck.

You entered your house and fell flat on the floor to tired to even move, you let out a tired sigh and closed your eyes falling to sleep in your spot.

The next day you were late for work and yelled at by your boss.

It's now a week and I'm hoping that skeleton comes in again. I then hear the door ding and my eyes land to see the monster I was hoping for.

I felt a hint of nervousness as I directed my attention to the window but yet ended up looking at him. I saw as he came towards me with another pun book in hand and I took it cashing it. Something was off, he said nothing to me today if anything he looked a bit distant.

I handed the book to him and opened my mouth to say something but he already turned to leave and I couldn't say anything.

I let out a disappointmented sigh as he went through the door and left.

"There is always next week"

4 weeks passed since then and you couldn't bring yourself to speak to him. He started conversations with you but you were so used to ignoring them you ignored them.

Right now you were at your second job a serious look on your face.

'I am going to talk to him this week if it's the lazy thing I do' you thought to yourself as you carried in the heavy materials more effectively.

"Huh? You've been working pretty hard this past week yn keep up the good work!" Your boss praised you but you were to into your thoughts to hear him. You didn't even noticed the figure that entered through the front door of the restaurant.

......Next day......

I yawned and tried to stetch the sleep out of my system but that wasn't working. I rested my head on my arms as I stared out the window my eyes ever so often trying to close. Before I knew it I was sleeping.

I felt a poke on my forehead and jumped awake standing straight making sure it wasn't my boss. I calmed down after awhile and heard a slight chuckle. My eyes drifted to see the one monster I've been meaning to talk to.

"Seems like I saved you again from getting fired" he laughed

".......i..guess you did" I finally responded to him and his smile widened.

"Heh, this is the first time you've actually really responded to me, I guess today must be my lucky day "

"Don't you think that's a little silly of you to say?"

"Silly or not, I wasn't going to give up on getting you to say something to me for once..funny thing is I thought it would take a longer time though....but I'm glad it didn't."

".....why would you waste your time on someone like me?"

"Well...heh..think about it if you saw someone that looked like they needed that shove...that all but given up, wouldn't you try to do something...wouldn't you want to save them."

".......I guess I can understand.....but what makes you think i need to be saved?"

"Well your eyes say you've given up" I was a bit shocked at what he said

".........Oh, here's your book"

"Thanks , Well then, I guess I'll see you next week." He said as he turned to leave

"W...wait...I didn't get your name"

"Hm?, oh the names sans"

"Im... (Y/n)..."
