ALTERTALE SANS x Reader : Time

9: Toriel

A few days had passed since the conversation with sans, it had went well and we learned a little more about each other. I already knew most things about sans from small talks we would have in the past.....

I even found out he was a preschool teacher and he works part time as something else(you totally forgot) , just the thought of it is adorable to me.

I was working today, I had found out that the cafe was actually on the other side of town so I had to start catching the bus since I don't have my own ride - and sans can't always take me there. I started thinking about this good friend sans always mentioned....I couldn't help that I was curious.

I cleaned the tables and went to the back carrying the plates to the kitchen. The little spiders took them and washed them. I always wondered if this would count as a sanitary violation seeing as how they are insects and all....but they do make the food and people eat it and seem to enjoy it.....so I guess not.

I walked out the from the kitchen about to do my daily duties when the ding of the front door alerted my attention. I looked over and saw sans walk in , this time it was different from his usual attire it was all black with purple symbols on it and black pants.

He had a smile on his face as if coming from laughing at a funny joke. I hadn't noticed when my eyes lit up at the sight of him. I was about to greet him but stopped midway when another person....a female also walked in from behind him and the two talked with each other laughing.

I watched as the two walked to a booth and sat down still laughing and speaking with each other. I looked at the girl it was a monster...she looked like a goat and wore a pink dress with a purple jacket, she was quite short, I wasn't tall but I had a couple inches over her.

From my perspective she looked to have a lax attitude yet at the same time she seemed tough. I was so lost looking at the two I hadn't noticed when muffet called out to me.

"Yn!"

"Uh, yes sorry" I apologized sheepishly

"You can't stand there and day dream deary we have costumers at table 5 waiting for you to take there money, i mean there order" she smiled at me shooing me off to the table that held a couple.

I glanced back one last time at sans and the mysterious girl and then went back to my duties.

"Hi I'm yn and I'll be taking your order, what can I get you?" I smiled fake y my voice monotone

"We would like to order the spider shake with two straws and a spider cake " the girl said and I jotted it down

"Okay I'll be right with you" I said and walked back toward the door looking at the where sans sat.

There was another girl taking there order...I was curious about the girl he was speaking with that I hadn't really been paying attention and bumped into the other girl that was carrying a tray.

I quickly helped to steady the tray thankfully not making a mess and apologized to her.

"Hey you should really be careful muffet would end up taking money out of each of our paycheck if we mess anything up" the girl said sharply and I noded my head and went to the kitchen giving the order to the spiders.

It didn't take long and soon the two items was given to me. I walked back out to see muffet talking with the sans and the goat monster. She seemed to have a midly amused yet irritated look on her face as she crossed all four of her arms.

I walked back to table 5 giving them there order and they thanked me beggining to dig in. I walked away and my eyes traveled back to the group though this time my eye locked with the girls eyes and I quickly looked away in surprise. I glanced back one more time but it seemed she was back in the conversation....or I should say she never really left the conversation she only quickly glanced at me, if I wasn't so sure of myself I would say it was my imigination.

Still looking back I ended up tripping and knocking into one of the other girls as the were taking an order from a guy. This made her promptly land in his lap and me.....

Well my forehead ended up hitting into the edge of the table and I hissed in pain as I sat on my knees and gripped the edge of the table hard while leaning my now pulsing head on the edge.

The fall had made a bit of noise, a hard thump catching some og the customers nearby attention. And something that I hoped didn't was catch sans, muffet, and mystery girls attention.

I heard ringing in my ears and the sounds of concern one of them sounding like sans? I wasn't sure but I quickly got up....a bit to fast if anything as I felt my head pulse hard and a wave of nausea wash over me.

"Im...sorry...for the inconvenience I'm okay..." I say to them. To be honest I couldn't really make out what they were saying but I could tell what the lines would be and said something sensible.

I made my way to the back room for employees only which was where we would change into our uniforms. As soon as I was inside a rest my back against the door and slid down onto the cold floor holding my head in both of my hands.

"Sssss....ow..." I hissed in pain and waited for the pulsing to die down but it didn't seem like that was gonna happen anytime soon.

I moved my hands from my head slowly and looked at my hands. My vision blurred a bit and I blinked a couple of times to clear it. I saw red on my hands and I put one of my hands to my head and recoiled back in pain regretting that decision and groaned.

I heard knocking behind me and muffled voices but my ears were still ringing.

This was a bit problematic.....
