24 hours before

My alarm went off at 7 a.m., I Shut it off and groaned into my pillow. I hated that church was so early on a Sunday ! But we went none the less.

I got up and got dressed into a short black dress with black flats, I put on make-up and wore my medium golden blonde hair down. I looked at myself in the mirror before heading down stairs.

"Hey sweety." Dad said as I joined him at the dining table.

"Hey Dad, where's Mom?"I asked, pouring some cereal into my bowl.

"She's feeling a bit under the weather, so it's just going to be you, me and Nanna." Dad replied.

Nanna is my Mom's Mother and that was one of the reasons I went, she often made chocolate chip cookies and handed them out at the church. Of course she always had a big bag for me.

"Is she gonna bring cookies?"I asked and he nodded his head.

"Of course and you'll also be helping her with her garden after. She has alot to plant and could really use your help."Dad added, I sighed.

I was planning on hanging with my best friend Kara after but that was on hold.

I texted Kara to tell we'd have to hang out after I helped Nanna.

Me: Hey, we'll have to hang out after 12 p.m, Dad's got me on Garden duty at my Nanna' s.

Kara: How bout I come to Nannas and help?

Me: Sure, but you'll have to work if you want cookies.

Kara: Ok, see you boo !

Once we were done with breakfast we headed out in Dad's car. I was listening to 'Hello' by Adele, when a news story broke in.

Radio guy: We have breaking news out of the U.K. A dangerous gang by the name of 1D has fled country lines and is believed to be headed to the U.S. Please watch out for these 4 very dangerous men. Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, Niall Horan and Harry Styles. There is another man who is occasionally seen with them, his name is Zayn but we're unsure of his last name. All men are believed to be armed, so if you see them. Don't approach them. Just call your local police station. Thank you for listening and be safe.

"You hear that ? Better be on guard and safe."Dad said as the music came back on.

"Dad, the chances of us actually running into them is slim to none. You don't need to worry." I replied.

I forgot to mention my Dad is the chief of police and takes every dangerous criminal bulletin seriously.

" I've arrested guys like them. They tend to go where they'll make the most money." Dad said.

" And what do they make money off of ? Drugs ?"I asked.

" Yep. That's why there so dangerous. You take drugs off of them and don't pay. They won't hesitate to kill you." Dad said as he pulled into church.

"Well I hope there caught. Can we not talk about them anymore ?" I asked and he nodded his head.

We head inside and meet Nanna who as always has her cookies. My mouth was watering at the sight.

"Hey dear, oh has your father been feeding you ?" Nanna asked, I nodded my head and hugged her.

" Of course I have. Excuse me for a moment." Dad said as he went to talk with a cop that just walked in. I wonder what they are talking about..

The priest started mass and we all sat down. I just ate cookies the whole time. After mass Nanna scolded me for eating too much.

After, Dad dropped me off at Nanna's, but he wasn't getting out of the car.

"Your not coming in ?" I asked, he shook his head.

"No sweety, I have some business I have to tend to and your Mother needs me at home." Dad said.

"Ok, tell Mom to feel better." I replied softly as he drove off.

Soon after, my friend Kara arrived to help.

"Ready for some fun ?" I asked her.

" If you mean for your Nanna's cookies, than yes !" Kara said.

We soon got to work helping Nanna plant some new flowers. It was kinda fun when you added music.

" Good job girls ! I really appreciate you both helping. Wanna stay for lunch ?" Nanna asked.

"Yes !" Me and Kara said simultaneously.

We munched on some food before heading out to a little get together at Kara's.

" Ready to party?" Kara asked as we got in her car.

"Oh yeah ! " I said, I texted Dad to let him know I'd be home late.

This was gonna be a great night !
