-Chief Daniel's P.O.V-

He had been falling asleep at his desk when the phone rang. He rushed to pick it up before it stopped.

"Chief Daniel's speaking."He said in a sleepy voice.

"Chief, I got in."Officer Hanes said, now that woke him up.

"You did ? That's great, did they give you a address ?" He asked now more alert.

"Yes but I think you should wait to send the police. I don't want to tick them off and risk getting your daughter killed. Just trust me and I will find out what I can."Officer Hanes replied.

He was glad Hanes talked him out of acting impulsively. If he wanted this to work, he had to be careful how he implemented attacks.

"Ok but how will I know when to send them ?"He asked, he felt helpless.

He didn't know how to think properly when it came to his family being in danger.

"I have a panic button, when I push it. Send the cops over. I just want to make sure they don't grow suspicious. There smart, they'll be watching me. So I have to prove I'm one of them."Officer Hanes added.

Chief Daniel's was glad he hired him for the job, he seemed to know exactly what he was thinking. He needed a guy like that doing a very risky job. He knew the cost but he still agreed to do it.

"Ok, just keep me posted and be careful."He said and he hung up.

He sighed as he leaned back in his chair, this was too much. How could he stay put together with his daughter in the hands of criminals ?

He didn't know but he had to try for his wife's sake and his daughter's. He picks up his phone and dialed.

"Detective Loundry, I need you to do me a favor."He said."Can you find any addresses listed in Zayn's name ? I know we don't have a last name but can you try ?"

He was gonna try to have as much people looking for information as possible. The more the better.

"Sure Chief, anything you need. I'll get back to you when I get anything."Detective Loundry said.

He never thought in a million years a gang would take his daughter hostage. But now they were using her as a bargaining chip to stay out of prison. He would get revenge once he found them. No one messes with his little girl.

A knock at his door startled him, he looks up to see Officer Jackson standing in the doorway. He waved him in as he sat up.

"Jackson, what can I do for you ?"He asked.

"We got a call from a lawyer from a former drug dealer, he was arrested after selling drugs to a undercover cop. He claims he knows something about that gang that took your daughter. " Officer Jackson said.

He shook his head, the only reason he was so inclined to tell them anything was because he got caught. But if he knew something, he wanted to know what.

"Okay, let's talk to him. Let's hope he isn't wasting our time."He said, following Jackson to the interrogation room.

In the room, a scruffy looking man sits alone in cuffs. He looked very smug, like he had no care in the world. Probably because he thought he'd get out for the information he supposedly has.

"Fill me in before I enter. "He said, Officer Jackson pulls out his file.

"His name is James Krockett. He was arrested for distribution of drugs and this is his 5th offence. He's been doing this for quite a while."Officer Jackson said."He also says he knows something about your daughter. "

"Did he say what ?"He asked, Jackson shook his head.

He sighed and entered the interrogation room, taking a seat across from the drug dealer. He hoped he actually had something. If he wasted his time, he'd make his stay much longer.

"So, Mr.Krockett. You say you have some information for us."He said, pulling out the mug shots of the gang members.

"Yeah, I worked for them. Was there best seller, at least until I got caught."James said chuckling."Before I tell you what I know, I want a deal for my testimony."

"If your information can help our case Mr.Krockett. We'll take time off your prison sentence. Only if it's valuable. "He stated.

"I know of 2 places they hide out during runs. Both are in secluded areas. But for those locations, I want to be put in a minimum security prison. Can you swing that ?"James asked.

He didn't like making deals with prisoners, but it was information that could help him find his daughter. He was the lowest scum of the earth, he only did stuff that benefits him. But if he knew, then he had to cooperate.

"Go ahead."He said.

"They have a warehouse out in the middle of nowhere. That's where there stash is. They also stay at a cabin in the woods when there resting."James said.

"Where are these places James ?" He asked.

"The warehouse is on Tinsel street 7145 is the address, I'm not sure where the cabin is but I'm sure if you find them, you'll find out."James added.

He wrote down the address and got up.

"What about my deal ?"James asked as he's about to leave.

"The DA will explain the terms once you go to trial." He said as he left the room.

"We're heading to this address now, but we'll stay a great deal away to avoid detection. "He said, grabbing his coat.

"Yes Chief."Officer Jackson said.

He only hoped this didn't back fire.
