Chapter 31

When the car stopped, I was lead inside yet another cabin and locked in a bedroom.

Zayn made Louis stay in to watch me while he talked with my supposed friend. Officer Hanes betrayed me.

"You ok ?"Louis asked, I shook my head.

"How are we gonna get out of this mess ? "I asked."That cop is a friend of my Dad's and he's helping him !"

"We will. Your Dad will find you and this will all be over."Louis said, untying my wrists.

"What about you ? What will happen to you ?"I asked, knowing the answer.

"Don't worry about me ok ?"He said, cradling my face in his hands." I'll be alright."

I nodded my head, that's all I could do right now. If I tried to escape again, Zayn have my head.

I could hear Zayn calling Louis' name, he turned his head and sighed.

"I'll be back."Louis said, I watch as he leaves me alone in the room.

I sigh and sit on the bed, hearing rustling outside. I look out the window and see my Dad crawling through the brush.

"Dad !"I say banging on the window lightly, he looks up.

I can feel tears prick my eyes as he looks at me, a sense of relief on his face.

"Danielle are you alright ?"He asked, I nodded my head.

"Get me out of here please !"I plead.

"I will, just stay calm, back-up is on the way."He said softly and he walked off with a gun in his hand.

I was worried for him and myself.

That's when Zayn shoved the door open putting me in a choke hold. I cried out as he dragged me out of the room.

"Your in for a world of pain."Zayn said just as the door was rammed open and cops entered the room.

"Police put your hands in the air !"

There are 4 cops and my Dad entered last.

"Let her go Zayn."My Dad said, his finger on the trigger.

"Can't shoot me without shooting your daughter Chief."Zayn spat.

"Let her go !"Officer Hanes said pointing his gun at him from behind.

I was shocked at the fact he was now on my Dad's side again. He must have planned this all along ! He wasn't working with Zayn.

Zayn had no choice but to let me go, I rushed to my Dad hugging him tight. I was crying so hard, I soaked his shirt.

Zayn and Louis were placed in cuffs and put into separate squad cars. It was finally over..

I layed in a hospital bed with my Mom and Dad by my side, they hadn't left since I got here.

They said I had to stay over night to make sure I didn't have any adverse effects of the drugs I was given.

They both were asleep with there heads on either side of my bed. I couldn't sleep, every time I tried I'd have a nightmare about 'them'.

I was lucky my Dad had found me when he did, Zayn would have done horrible things to me if he hadn't...and that thought terrified me to the bone.

I told him not to be so harsh on Louis as much as the others because he had helped me. My Dad thought I was suffering from Stockholm Syndrome.

Maybe I was, I didn't know who I was anymore..

A nurse came in the room, seeming surprised I was still awake.

"You should get some rest, your parents are."She said.

"I can't sleep. All I see is them."I stated.

"I know but you need to rest. Do you need something to help ?"She asked, I shook my head.

"I'll be fine, thank you."I replied and she left me alone again.

I turned on my side and shut my eyes, falling into a dreamless sleep.
