Chapter 29

I became nauseous...why did Zayn have to be in the car ? I could feel Louis tense up as he stood behind me.

"Just do what I say and he won't hurt you."Louis whispered in my ear, pulling my  wrists behind my back.

I wanted to run but I knew he probably had a gun and could just shoot me. My body tensed as the car pulls over.

When Zayn got out, I didn't need to pretend to be afraid. I was already by his presence.

"Get her in the car. We have to get out of here."Zayn said walking back to the car.

I looked back at Louis, not wanting to get in the car.

"Pretend your fighting me. "Louis whispered and I did just that.

"No ! Let go of me ! Stop please !"I begged, playing the role all too well.

But a part of me wasn't acting. Louis forcibly got me in the back with him. As soon as the door shuts, Zayn drives off.

I don't stop fighting in fear he'll see right through our ploy. He throws a length of rope at Louis, I already know what he wants him to do.

"Tie her up and make sure she can't get out of it this time."Zayn said, I did not want to be tied up.

I fought him but there wasn't much I could do being in the backseat,I gave up and let Louis tie my wrists behind my back. I could tell he was trying to tie it as gentle as possible but firm enough I couldn't wiggle out of it.

We drove on the road for a while, until another car came into view. It was a police car ! Zayn tensed up, I smiled.

The cop stood out in the middle of the road, waving for him to stop.

"Keep her quiet while I deal with this guy."Zayn said slowing down.

The minute it stopped, he placed his hand over my mouth. Shhing me, his other hand was holding my bound wrists.

I was scared Zayn was going to kill the cop..when he rolled down the window. I shut my eyes.

"What seems to be the problem Officer ?"Zayn asked.

"Zayn, I'm surprised you got away. I see you lost another member."

Wait his voice sounded familiar...

"Yeah..we need you to help us find a place to hide until the police leave. Can you hook us up ?"Zayn asked.

Where have I heard that voice before ? I opened my eyes and gasphed. It was my Father's friend Officer Hanes...he was helping them ?

"Yeah, get in my car, they won't think you'd be in a squad car. I'll drive you to my cabin down the road. "Officer Hanes said.

I couldn't believe he was helping them...i think I'm gonna be sick.

"Are you sure we can trust him ?"Louis asked.

"Yeah, grab her and get in the car. We don't have time to waste."Zayn said getting out.

"Don't worry, I won't let them hurt you."Louis whispered as he pulled me out of the car.

I nodded my head as he lead me to the squad car. Once inside, I locked eyes with the cop who claimed to be my Dad's friend.

He shows no emotion.
