Chapter Ten

☆Jordyn's POV☆

"Jordyn! Where the hell were you?! I have been calling and texting you!" Nathan said overprotectively as I walked into the hotel suite.

"Sorry, I was beginning to feel better so I went for a walk. My phone died." I lied.

"Be more careful. You had all of us worried." Nathan scolded. I nodded.

"Sorry."

"Aye, Jordyn, where have you been?" Max asked as he entered the room.

"Out for a long walk." I replied, trying to sound as believable as possible.

"It's getting late. You should get ready for bed." Nathan said.

"Yes, dad." I told him, rolling my eyes. I jogged upstairs and walked straight into Tom coming around the corner.

"Oh, hey Jordyn." He said. He was shirtless and only had a towel wrapped around his waist.

"Tom! Oh, uh, hey. I... uh..." I stuttered, not being able to keep myself from marveling at his perfectly chiseled abs.

"Pictures last longer, sweetheart." Tom winked at me before going to his room.

☆Alex's POV☆

"Hey, beautiful." I smiled as Jordyn met me. I was glad she finally agreed. Tiger would kill me if Jordyn didn't agree to see me. On the other hand, Jordyn was going to kill me when she finally realized I was betraying her.

"Hi," she blushed.

"How'd you slip away from your brother and his friends?" I asked.

"I told them I was going sightseeing to old places I used to know when I lived here while they're at soundcheck for one of their concerts later." She replied.

"Oh. Nice lie." I chuckled. "Let's go inside. I made us reservations."

We went inside and I made sure to keep a respectable amount of distance. I didn't want to make her uncomfortable at this point. I needed her to trust me.

"Reservations for Alex." I told the waitress. She nodded and guided us to a table all the way in the back, right next to the back exit. The perfect place.

"So, where are your brother and his friends?" Jordyn asked as we sat down.

"Off somewhere probably getting into trouble. But that's just Tiger and X for you mostly. Robbing banks, raiding homes, and stealing cars. M and Z are meeting with some other members. You might have heard of Hawk and Black. They were Q's number one assistants in everything. I am sure your mother met them."

"I do remember mother mentioning a Henry and someone's name that may have started with a B."

"Yes, Henry is Hawk. You're good with names. I'm just called A."

"Who are the other members I have not met yet?" Jordyn asked.

"Well, the main members are the ones you must know. You've already met Tiger, X, M, Z, and me. Q was part of the elite fifteen, but now there are fourteen and we need a fifteenth elite. Anyways, apart from us are Hawk and Black, V, K, H, Dirt, Eagle, U, and Grimer. Stay clear of H, Dirt, and Grimer. They aren't the nicest. Not that any gang members traditionally are."

"What about you? You seem pretty nice." Jordyn pointed out.

"Yes, because I am apart of this gang by family. I never would have chosen this lifestyle for myself." I explained.

"I think I like you most of everyone. You talk to me instead of telling me to just shut up. And you have a decent smile. Z's makes me want to throw up." Jordyn laughed.

"Yeah, Z isn't the best at attractiveness... anyways... aside from this lovely personal conversation, we've got business to do, places to be, people to meet, money to steal." I finalized. I whistled and three members burst through the back door, covering Jordyn's face with a cloth soaked in chemicals. She struggled slightly before dropping limp from the chemicals. Then they tied her up with rope and yanked her outside without creating a scene. It was a relatively quiet action that no one paid attention to.

And with that we made our escape.
