Chapter Twenty-Six

☆Nathan's POV☆

~

"Is everything ready?" I asked over the phone.

"Yes. Just doing last minute touch ups." He replied. I nodded.

It was silent for a moment.

Oh yeah... he couldn't see me nod...

"Uh, great. We'll be by in about fifteen." I said before hanging up.

"I present to you, the birthday girl!" Nareesha and Nina said, gesturing towards Jordyn walking down the stairs. She was in a short blue dress that had these ruffly things. I don't know what they're called.

Nina and Nareesha were in matching cream dresses. As they descended down the stairs, my breath caught. Jordyn looked absolutely beautiful. I loved to spoil her since my mum and her dad would never do such a thing.

"Wow." Tom breathed, his eyes locked on her.

"You girls look amazing." Siva smiled, taking Nareesha's hand as they got to the bottom of the stairs.

"Thanks," Nina smiled, going over to Max who wrapped an arm around her waist. Damn, I needed a girlfriend. Me and Jay. Or maybe Jaythan could work out...

"Okay, can I know where we're going now?" Jordyn asked as we went outside to the van.

"Nope. Blindfold her, Tom." I smirked. Tom pulled out a blindfold.

As soon as we all sat down in the van, Tom tied the black blindfold around Jordyn's eyes so she couldn't see.

"Just give me a hint?" She stuck out her bottom lip and tried to kiss up to Tom by wrapped her arms around his neck and kissing it. I almost threw up.

"I love you, darling, but no hints." Tom chuckled when Jordyn pouted.

"Just be patient. We'll be there in a few minutes." I told her. "No hints."

☆Jordyn's POV☆

I was getting bored with not being able to see when I felt the van come to a stop and the engine stop.

"Are we here?" I asked excitedly.

"Yes, love. Now careful getting out of the van." Tom told me. Him and Siva helped me out so I wouldn't fall.

"When can I take this thing off?" I asked, pointing to the black cloth tied around my head.

"Hold on, keep walking." Nathan told me. Tom had my hand and was guiding me. I heard a door open and warm air hit me as we entered a building. I felt the hardwood floor underneath my feet.

"Now!" They all shouted. I reached up and ripped the blindfold off to see probably one hundred people yell out:

"SURPRISE!"

I shrieked in shock and looked around. I didn't even know any of these people.

"Aw, Nath, did you plan this?" I giggled.

"Actually, it was your boyfriend." Nathan winked. I turned to hug Tom.

"I love you," I whispered.

"I love you too." He chuckled. I heard a bunch of camera shutters and everyone 'aww'ing.

"Now, your real eighteenth birthday present..." Max said, grabbing something and coming over to me. He presented me with a glass of some kind of alcoholic beverage.

"What is it?" I asked, taking the glass.

"Don't worry, it's just champagne." Nina told me.

I had just taken notice that we were in a restaurant but in the bar section.

I brought the glass to my lips and smelt it. It had a weird smell, but seemed familiar. I sipped the liquid and it burned my throat a little bit. I looked up and everyone cheered.

"Who are all of these people?" I asked Tom as we all began taking our seats at tables to have dinner.

"Just some celebrities we know, some friends, but don't worry. No family is here." He told me with a sympathetic smile. I nodded and sat down next to him. The eight of us got a booth.

Me, Tom, Nathan, and Jay sat on one side while Max, Nina, Siva, and Nareesha got on the other side.

"Hello, I'm Richard and I'll be your waiter today. Can I start you all with a drink?" He asked politely.

"Round of Guiness's and another glass of champagne for the birthday girl." Jay told him and pointed to me when he said 'birthday girl'. Richard nodded and then walked away to get our drinks.

"You guys said celebrities were here?" I asked, raising my eyebrows.

"Obviously. The world-famous number one UK band and most attractive men on earth, The Wanted!" Nathan smiled.

"You guys don't count as celebrities to me." I frowned.

"What? Why not?" Siva asked with a frown similar to mine.

"Because Nath's my brother, Tom's my boyfriend, and you lot are my friends. Not famous people." I sighed.

"But really, our manager, Scooter is here, the guys from Midnight Red, Lawson-"

"Kelsey." Nathan interrupted.

"No, why would we invite her?" Tom asked in a bitter tone.

"We didn't. But she's here." Siva said, pointing to her sitting at the bar.

"Why? Do you think it's a coincidence?" Nina asked.

"Doubt it." Tom muttered.

"What does this mean?" I asked worriedly.

"It means you aren't leaving my sight all night." Tom said protectively.

Okay, so it wasn't necessarily a bad thing...
