I'm awoken by flickering lights. I slowly open my eyes to see the alarms going off telling everyone to start preparing for battle.
I sit up in my bed and realize I'm not the only one in it. I see Cassian sleeping right next to me, and at first I'm startled. Then I remember everything that happened last night, and a smile comes upon my lips.
Right as these thoughts rush through my mind, I see Cassian start to wake up. Allowing him to have some space, I sit up from the bed and walk over to the closet to find an outfit to wear.
'Remember it has to work well for a battle' I remind myself.
Looking though the closet, I immediately find a shirt and jacket that will work perfectly. The shirt was plain black, with long sleeves and the jacket was a tan color. It had pockets on the inside and out, great for storing things.
It takes me a few minutes, but I then finally find some boots. They also had a tan color, great for blending in. Now all I have to do I find some pants..
While searching for pants, I hear a noise coming from the bed. I turn my head around to see Cassian getting up from the bed and walking towards me.
"Good morning, Sunshine"
"Sunshine?" I ask back.
"Yeah, you know" Cassian tells me. "Every couple usually has names for each other, and you are sunshine to me."
"Wait, who said we were couples?" I sarcastically say. But it was partially true. We never officially mentioned we were now a couple.
"Okay then." Cassian says. "Would you like to be my girl?"
I walk towards Cassian and wrap my arms around his neck. I give him a quick, gentle kiss, and then pull away.
"Of course"

It was getting time to leave. There were numerous x-wings being prepared for battle. Also, there were a couple of large shuttles off to the side, which we were gonna use, to get to Akiva for the distraction battle.
I was just walking around checking out all the ships when I accidentally walked into someone. (A/N; This is so me omg😂)
"Ow!" I scream out.
"Oh my lord I'm so sorry!" The man I ran into exclaims.
I stand up and bring my hand to my forehead where ours collided. "Oh, don't worry about it. It's my fault anyways for not paying attention."
A smile comes upon the man as he realizes who I am. "You're Jyn, right?"
I nod.
"Well, hello Jyn. My name is Ralph. I'm actually part of your scout team for the battle. Would you like me to take you to the shuttle? We are leaving in just a few minutes."
"Yeah sure" I reply. "Thank you"
"Anytime"
And with that Ralph and I walked to the shuttle. Luckily, it was a short walk, knowing we were about to leave in a few minutes and we wouldn't want them heading out without us. But at the same time, I doubt Cassian would let them leave without me.
Right as we arrived to the shuttle, the alarms for exiting went off. We quickly ran up the ramp of the ship, going inside. I expeditiously found Cassian.
"Ready?" Cassian asks me.
"Yep"
And with that, the shuttle took off to go to Akiva.
I hope this plan works out.
If not, we're screwed.
