After showering, the two had climbed into Jimin's bed, cuddled together and facing each other. Yoongi smiled at the sight of Jimin. Jimin kept complaining about how sore he was, and reminded Yoongi that he forgot to use lube. Yoongi mentally facepalmed at this and made a note to grab some next time. He felt bad for hurting the younger, but Jimin assured him that the pleasure overpowered the pain. Yoongi looked at Jimin lovingly, stroking his hair until the both of them drifted off to sleep.
"Yoongi! Gotta get up!" Jimin nudged Yoongi. He had to go into work again, and of course, Yoongi had to be brought with him. "Again?" he mumbled, not wanting to leave the bed. "Yup. C'mon! I'm not gonna be late!" Yoongi didn't even flinch, wanting to know what Jimin would do if he didn't get up. "Alright then." Jimin walked over to Yoongi, tore the covers off, and picked him up bridal style. "Hey whoa whoa what are you doing?" Yoongi wasn't a fan of being off the ground, no matter how little the distance. "You wouldn't get up, so I decided to make you get up." Jimin smiled smugly as he carried Yoongi down the stairs, his head narrowly missing the wall by a few inches. "Jimin! Pay attention! My brain is damaged enough let's not make it worse!" Yoongi hissed while clenching his fists around Jimin's shirt. Jimin halted his movement. "I- I'm sorry Yoongi." He whispered. Jimin honestly didn't know how to reply to that. Yoongi half-smiled. "It's fine, I shouldn't have said that anyways" he replied softly. Jimin continued down the stairs, dropping the older onto the couch. He grabbed some fruit from the fridge and threw it into his bag, and grabbed the cuffs from the counter. He sat in front of Yoongi. "Hands." Jimin said as he held the cuffs. Yoongi immediately held out his arms. As soon as Jimin cuffed him, he leaned in and planted a soft, gentle kiss on Jimin's lips. Jimin's cheeks flushed red, even though kisses like this were nothing new. "Okay, let's go." Jimin said as he smiled and pulled the elder towards the door.
Jimin and Yoongi got out of the car and walked into the station. Jin saw Jimin, and eagerly waved over at his fellow partner. "Hey Jimin!" Jin was sitting over at his desk, talking to Namjoon. "Hey! Be there in a sec!" Jimin replied. He and Yoongi walked over to Jimin's desk. "You know the rules", he said sternly, as he made Yoongi sit down at the desk. Yoongi kicked his feet up on the edge, and placed his arms behind his head. "I'll try hard to remember", he said, winking at Jimin. Nodding, and slightly blushing, Jimin started walking to Jin's desk. "Howdy partner!" Jin yellled, throwing his arms in the air, all the while managing to hit Namjoon in the face. Jimin's face remained blank. "Please don't ever say that again" he replied to the older, granting a laugh that sounded like windshield-wipers. This also earned a glare from Namjoon to Jin. "Ah, sorry babe." As soon as Jin said this, everyone froze, and Namjoon turned to Jin, startled. "Wait whoa...babe? Are you two a thing? What the hell have I missed?" Jimin raised his eyebrows and looked from one to the other. Namjoon nodded, confirming Jimin's question. "Aww yay! I always thought you two were cute." Both of them blushed, with Namjoon looking away briefly. "So how's Yoongi?" Namjoon asked Jimin, switching into a more serious attitude. "He's great. He's honestly not as bad as you guys think." At this, Jin furrowed his brows in concern. "Um.. you do remember what he's done, right?"
All of us have made mistakes, it's nothing to judge him by.
"Of course I do! I've talked to him a little bit too, and there are very complicated reasons behind his actions." A little bit of understanding ran through Jin's face, but not much. "Alright, but be careful Jimin, don't get too close to him." Jimin frowned. "Why not?" Jin was now even more concerned. "Are you serious? First and foremost, he's a criminal, and second, you only have a couple more months with him." Fuck. Jimin had forgotten that Yoongi couldn't stay with him forever. He was only supposed to be with him until there was a noticeable change in his mentality, which would be tested after 4 months of mentoring. If he passed, he would be released. If he failed, he would be thrown into jail. Yoongi still had 3 more months. "Well, I won't. Like you said, he's just a criminal." Jimin wasn't aware, but Yoongi was listening to the conversation. I'm "just a criminal" to you? Bullshit. Yoongi knew why Jimin had to lie, but belittling him like that, speaking with disgust? That low? He could've at least just agreed and left it there. But that was of no matter now. He'd show him. Jimin got up from his place and walked back to his desk, smiling at Yoongi. Yoongi gave him a thin-lipped smile back, and said nothing for the rest of Jimin's shift.
