Jimin shifted the gear into park and wearily stepped out of the car. He glanced up at the sky, which, for once, was a bright blue color, devoid of clouds. He raised an eyebrow at this.

That's unusual. It's always gray.

He shook it off and opened the front door, stepping into darkness and silence. The atmosphere soon changed, though, and Jimin was greeted by an outburst of color and light.

Jimin stared at all of his friends in front of him- Jin, Namjoon, all of his co-workers.. Wait. I thought they were being mean to me.

"What's going on?" Jimin asked the line of friends.

A figure stepped out from behind Jin, and walked toward Jimin.

Jimin's mouth fell agape, as he saw the man before him.

"Welcome home, baby."

"Yoongi!!" Jimin cried as he threw his arms around the other, beginning to cry. Yoongi soothed him, stroking his hair and squeezing him even tighter. Their crowd of friends began cheering, thankful that Jimin was finally happy.

Jimin turned to the crowd, still wrapped in Yoongi's embrace.

"How did this happen? Wh-when did he wake up?" he stuttered, feeling somewhat angry that no one bothered to tell him about Yoongi.

Namjoon stepped forward. "Well, he woke up soon after you got called into work. I had gone back to the hospital to grab my coat and I saw him waking up. We made a plan to surprise you, disguising it as Jin and I's party, so you wouldn't know he was awake. I'm sorry if you're mad. And that's why everyone was being mean to you; we wanted you to be extra happy when you got home."

Jimin was still a tiny bit mad, but was happy that the others went to such measures to cheer him up. "O-okay. Well, thank you guys." Jimin said as he wiped a tear from his face, hugging Namjoon and Jin.

"Well, let's get this party started then, huh?" Jimin smiled.

Yoongi and Jimin spent the evening introducing themselves to their co-workers and friends, making sure to tone down the "couple-y-ness" just in case anyone told their boss.

Also, they celebrated Namjoon and Seokjin getting together, since everyone had shipped them since day one. They seemed extremely happy, which was odd because of the police station's dating policy. See, at work, there was a rule against dating co-workers. About this, Jimin worried. Technically, Yoongi wasn't a coworker, but dating a felon would probably be just as frowned-upon. Jimin hadn't talked to his boss about their relationship yet, and she didn't turn up to the party, so Jimin didn't think she quite liked the idea of them together.

Yoongi noticed Jimin's worried expression and pulled him aside into the kitchen. "Not having much fun?" he asked, looking at Jimin. "No, no I'm having fun, it's just worrying me that my boss doesn't know.. and I hope we'll still be allowed to be together.." Yoongi cut him off with a gentle kiss, weaving his fingers through Jimin's hair. "Everything will be fine, trust me." He gave a small smile to Jimin, backed up, and held out his hand. "C'mon", he beckoned the younger. "This hand isn't gonna hold itself." Jimin laughed to himself and let Yoongi lead him back out into the house.

The crowd left around 11, seeing as everyone had work the next day. Yoongi and Jimin cleaned up and made sure everything was back in order. This took a couple of hours, however, since Yoongi decided to put music on. The both of them ended up dancing around in the kitchen and singing at the top of their lungs.

After midnight karaoke, they both walked up to their room, laying down next to each other. Jimin snuggled up to Yoongi. "I missed this." Yoongi smiled. "I missed this too, Jiminie." Yoongi sweetly kissed his forehead and pulled him closer. Jimin pulled away and sat up slightly. "No, I mean it. Goddammit, Yoongi, I love you so much. I don't know what I would ever do without you." Jimin was almost crying. Yoongi sat up too and took Jimin's head in his hands. "As long as you want me to, I'll never leave your side, promise?" Jimin smiled back at him.

"I promise."
