Yoongi almost cried tears of joy when he saw Jimin pointing a gun at the Leader's head. Jimin was alone, however; he didn't want to risk the lives of anyone else. Or at least, Yoongi thought he was alone.

"I'm sorry, are you deaf? Step away from my boyfriend, bastard." Jimin repeated, this time sounding angrier than before.

"Now, now, Jimin, that's no way to talk to your Chief." the latter retorted, and smirked at the couple. "What an unfortunate turn of events." He laughed, with Yoongi and Jimin sending him death glares.

"Let him go now, or I will shoot you."

The Leader pretended to act scared, and started to taunt Jimin. "Oh really? I won't shoot Yoongi, it's not worth wasting a bullet. Just look at him, he's already almost dead."

And in this, the Leader was right. Yoongi's arm was still pouring blood. His face had gone white -even whiter than he usually was- and he was struggling to keep his eyes open.

C'mon Yoongi just hold on a little longer, please..

"Why did you make me mentor him?" Jimin asked, legitimately wanting to know why his Chief would do this to him.

The Chief was always there for Jimin. He treated him like a son, encouraging him for his accomplishments and scolding him for his mistakes. Jimin thought of the Chief in high regards, and could never in a million years imagine that he could be leading a double life like this.

"I wanted to break you both. I've always known who you were, Jimin, I've been watching you since Yoongi beat you up. You're a sucker for anyone who seems to like you, immediately falling for them, only to have your heart broken. It makes me sick."

"And with Yoongi, he was always willing to do as I said, so I sent him to you. The plan was to make you fall for Yoongi and then bring you back to us, where Yoongi was going to kill you. He's been playing you, Jimin."

Jimin's mind came crashing down on him. The Chief's explanation made a world of sense. He's always been played. He's always been used and then left in the dirt. Yoongi was going to kill me.. No. No way. His mind, however broken, refused to lose its faith in the blond and sarcastic man before him.

"I don't know if Yoongi would have actually gone through with it though, he seemed to actually fall for you. That's why I decided to just kill you both. And what better way then to lure you out here, outside of your comfort zone?"

The Chief laughed to himself. Jimin noticed Yoongi's breathing was slowing drastically. He had to do something.

"It doesn't matter what you do, or say, both of you will end up dead." The Leader started making his way towards Jimin, and Jimin began to back up.

"You sure about that?" Jimin asked, his tone sharpening, and a smirk arising on his face.

A hoard of footsteps ran across the floor above them, giving Jimin an opportunity. As all three of their heads turned to the ceiling, two gunshots fired, and for Yoongi, everything went black again.

**
Jimin was now sitting in the back of an ambulance, holding onto Yoongi's hand. He was rocking back and forth in his seat, muttering "please don't go, please don't go" and silently crying as well, not even bothering to wipe the tears away.

When the footsteps distracted the three, Jimin turned to shoot the Chief, but not before the Chief took the chance to shoot Yoongi. Jimin aimed right for the head, killing the Chief immediately. Yoongi was shot in the chest, the bullet nearing his heart.

Jimin was well aware Yoongi couldn't hear him, but he began to speak anyway. "Look, Yoongi, I don't care if you're playing me, just please survive. I don't know what I'd do without you. For the past few months, you've made me genuinely happy. You've made my situation better, you've opened up to me, and even though I know this sounds terrible, I'm glad the Chief sent you to me. Don't ever walk away from me Yoongi, walk with me. There's still so much more to see."

He finished, collecting himself and squeezing Yoongi's hand even harder. They had reached the hospital, and soon he would be held back as they rolled Yoongi into the ER. All Jimin could do now is hope for a miracle.
