Zoe Kicks My Ass

I snapped out of my shock and ripped my shirt off to drape over her naked body to allow her some decency.

"APOLLO!" I shouted at him, knocking him out of his shock.

"Right," He quickly got up and ran to Zoe's side and started to run his hands over her body, his hands glowing as he tried to find out what was wrong. I ran to the throne room doors to close them and keep anyone from knowing what had happened. Hell, I don't even know what happened, and I was there.

"How did this happen?!" Artemis asks me as I turned around. "You were only supposed to give her back her sword! Not bring her here!"

"I don't know," I confessed. "I wasn't sure how to get the sword to her since she was a constellation."

"So you broke it?!" Hephaestus screamed at me. "That thing was made with immortal power! That thing was supposed to be indestructible! How the hell did you snap it in half?!"

"I don't know!" I shouted back, shutting him up. "I just figured that the sword was a sort of container and Zoe's essence its contents. I figured that with no container to hold it, Zoe's essence would go back to her. Not the other way around."

"And if it hadn't?!" Zeus thundered (Heh Heh :P). "You could have destroyed Olympus!"

"Oops?" I said. Zeus looked like he was going to say something, but no sound was coming out. Several gods facepalmed. All of a sudden, I heard a slap, then a crash.

"Oww," Apollo said, rubbing his face. "She's awake you guys. Watch out, she's not in a good mood." I looked at Zoe to see her sitting up, looking around the room in confusion. Her eyes settled on me and she scowled. She started to get up before realizing her attire. She then looked at Artemis.

"My lady, could I please have some clothes?" She asked, trying to cover herself up as much as possible with my torn shirt. Artemis snapped her fingers and Zoe was immediately dressed in her usual Hunter outfit. Except for her tiara, I realized. That probably on Thalia's head right now.

She stood up with my shirt in her hands, walked over and tossed it to me. Then she punched me in the gut. Hard. I doubled over in pain, clutching my stomach as I tried not to puke. Then she hugged me. "Thanks," She whispered in my ear.

"Bipolar," I wheezed back, causing her to smile and step back. Then she punched me in the jaw, knocking me on my ass. I laughed. "Yeah, I guess I deserved that one." She nodded, then held out a hand to help me up. I took it hesitantly and she hauled me up to face the gods. They kept looking between me and Zoe with their eyes and mouths open wide. A sudden squeal broke the silence.

"PERZOE!" Aphrodite screamed, giggling and stomping her feet. Everyone looked at her, then at us, and laughed. I sat there with a blank look on my face.

"Huh?" I looked at Zoe, who turned out to be looking at me with a confused look on her face as well.

"What are you guys laughing  about?" She asked as she turned back to the gods. Hestia was the only one NOT rolling on the floor laughing, so she decided to answer.

"You got him to laugh dear," She said, trying to hide her grin behind her hand. Realization suddenly dawned on me. I hadn't laughed since I saw Annabeth with Rachel. Actually, I hadn't really shown any emotion besides sadness since that moment. I looked at her with my eyes wide.

"What?" She asked, still looking confused. I laughed, grabbed her, and picked her up, causing her to yelp. I twirled her around, ignoring her complaints as I realized for the first time that maybe I could actually HEAL. I set her down to get another punch to the face, but I was still laughing through the tears. I just lay there laughing with the gods, leaving Zoe as the only one not laughing. "If someone doesn't explain what the hell is going on, I'm going to start knocking heads!" She threatened. This only caused us to laugh harder, and eventually she started to laugh as well.

Minor God's POV

I cracked open the throne room doors to see what was going on, only to see them all on the floor laughing.

"Crazy Olympians," I muttered as I walked back to my home.
