The bright orange fire crackles and sizzles while illuminating the once dark cave. Day two is ending and day three is becoming even closer in sight. Two days ago I left Alexandra.

   Has anyone found me? No.

Do I even care the slightest? No.

My mind continuous to wonder like the smoke rolling out of the cave and into the starry filled sky. I do miss everyone and it was probably stupid of me to just leave like that. Also by putting myself and more importantly the baby in harm. I think it would be good for me to go back tomorrow but for now I need to get some sleep.

I lay my jacket on the ground, hard ground in the most comforting way possible but it was impossible. Finally I just gave up on my right side and arms around my stomach. I never knew I could miss a bed this much and a great home cooked meal. My stomach growls as I think that and I couldn't help but laugh. My eyes finally grow heavy, letting the last thing I look at it the strong outline of the fire on the wall.

A bright, warm feeling hits my eyelids warming them instantly. First it felt good but then it became an unpleasant burning. I open my eyes and immediately cover them with my hands.

"Stupid sunlight." I groan to no one but myself as I sit up. When my eyes find the strength again they open. The fire is choking out the last bit of flame it has left. I slowly stand up and shuffle towards it. My foot stomps it out, making ashes stick to my boot and float up in the air. I move my hands in a swaying motion to make sure I don't inhale any of it.

My things rest against a rock close to where I was sleeping. I pick it up and swing it over my back.

"It's time to head home." My hand goes onto of my stomach as I begin to walk out of the place I called home for the last few days.

Everything seems just so quiet and peaceful. That usually never happens especially now being in the apocalypse and all.

I wish I could stay in the woods forever. No worries, no stress. Only the tall trees hovering over you, blocking the bright sunlight from reaching you're skin. I feel like everyone took all of this for granted before the apocalypse. I have to admit I did, I know I did and I one hundred precent admit it. What I wouldn't give for a day to lay in bed all day, turn a little Impractical Jokers on with all you can eat snacks and laugh till you're sides hurt. Now someone is just lucky enough to sleep more than four hours. People in Alexandra have it way easy compared to others out there. Who knows, maybe there are people who have it easier than us.

My feet fall in a rhythmic pattern crunching the sticks as I walk. For some odd reason I find amusement in it. I'm such a weird person...In a good way! I swear.

Have you ever had that feeling that someone is watching you? Even following you? Well I've been having both those feelings for a while, lucky me. Just thinking about it sends unpleasant shivers down my spine. Maybe it's someone from Alexandra but if it was why would they be following me? Shouldn't they be taking me back immediately since I'm carrying the leaders son's kid and all?

I thought maybe the feelings would go away as time went on but it only got stronger and stronger. It's to the pit I just want to turn around, scream and start shooting. I don't think that would be a wise decision since I only have a few bullets left in my only hand gun I have.

Okay this is enough. I have to do something about this because I can't take it anymore!

"Who is there!" I shout as I quickly turn out, grabbing my hand gun and extending my arms with the safety off and finger on the trigger. In response bushes rustle making me grip my hand gun even harder.

"I know you're there! Mines well show you're self!" I shout getting impatient. This time for a response I receive a toned bird like whistle. Then right after another, then another and before I know it there are so many answering one another. It reads me of a bird called a mocking bird. I spin around in my spot, looking in every direction possible trying to pin point at least one of the whistles but it was no use.

"Tsk...tsk...tsk..." A voice said from behind me. My knuckles turn white by me gripping the hand gun so tight. The whistles finally stopped and it was dead quiet. Just then heavy foot steps break that silence. They were gradually getting louder only meaning one thing. Who ever it was is coming closer to me. I start to panic but I try to do nothing stupid.

"Why don't you turn around." A deep voice said. A sound of something swinging in the air behind me makes me slightly jump. I slowly turn around but I still hold my gun high.

There stands a man with boots, a zipped up leather jacket with matching jeans and a red shirt peaking from underneath (I'm not totally sure if it was a shirt or scarf or whatever 😰). The thing that catches my eye was in his hands is a bat with barbwire tightly wrapped around it. He steps slightly closer to me, not even caring that a gun is pointed at him.

     "Hi...I'm Negan."
