Lonely
A feeling that comes after alone
And is perhaps far worse.
The most severe piece attached to the feeling of lonely
Is that it is a prolonged feeling, it doesn't end even when you are no longer alone.
The depth of being truly lonely is horrific,
It is a deep soul crushing, stifling feeling
One that slowly but surely feeds the futility of your life
It tells you that none of these people actually care.
At most they pity you because you are worthless,
To them you are nothing you mean nothing,
And in the end the beast is fed
The lonely-ness is immortalized,
Because it is the last thing you knowingly feel.
You are finally, Truly,
Lonely.
