I woke up, silently cursing as I looked at the time. I had slept past my alarm so it was 6:00, rather than 4:00. I quickly got up, changed, and brushed my teeth. When I got downstairs I decided to watch supernatural so I could finish the 11th season. As everyone slowly started to come downstairs I had truly begun to realize how many people I live with. I have 3 sisters: Emily (step), Lexi (full), and Morg (half). I have two brothers: Peter (full) and Mason (step). Finally, I have two half siblings who live in Texas and California: Ashley and Patrick. Lexi and I are the only ones who know about them.
Around 7:20 we all start to head out the door (except Morg because she graduated). As we walked everyone absentmindedly separated into groups. The boys in one, the girls in the other. Lexi had her music blasting, but I prefer to listen to music with headphones. I can kind of hear Emily talking to me. She was probably talking about CayleeAnne. Honestly, Emily is head over heels. I am happy they got together. Anyway, we finally got to school and we went our separate ways. I sat down, and powered off my phone. I then finished my homework and by the time I was done it was time to go to first period.
As soon as I sat down I heard the loud speaker go off. "Will CayleeAnne Taylor, Abi Orona, Chrisinda Miller, and Harley Strunk please report to the guidance office." I sat up and walked down, knowing exactly why they had called. "Here are your passes, group counseling will be at 12:47" the blonde lady said cheerfully. I took the pass and walked into class as if nothing had happened.
"Why do you go to the office every Wednesday" Wyatt asked.
"Why can't you mind your own business" I retorted.
I honestly didn't want to start an argument, but he is a grade A pain in my ass. Plus, I would rather not spend my valuable reading time talking to some asshole. I looked to my left and saw the Anon was reading a creepypasta fanfic. I rolled my eyes playfully.
"Is there anything that you ship that isn't gay" I asked.
"Is there anything about me that is straight" she quietly giggled.
"No, thankfully" I said, giving her a subtle smirk. We then proceed to make fools of ourselves in front of the class by having our little fangirl fits every now and then.
Second period came and I obviously wanted to slit the throats of everyone in the classroom. As soon as I sat down, one of the kids who work in the office came in and gave me a pass. Thank God. I made my way down and walked right into Mrs.Heckman's office. I sat down on the part of the couch I always sit on. (I basically live in that room) Mrs. Heckman is the schools social worker.
"So Abi, how was camp" she said, smiling cautiously.
"Oh it was fine, I honestly didn't do much. There was Volleyball, lazer tag, drift-trike racing, basketball, and basketball one on one." I said flatly.
"Did you see Heather, Hope, and Jules" she said a little less cautious.
"I saw all of them but Jules, I also saw Matthew and 'you know who' " I said silently.
"What he did was not ok, but you need to learn to forgive"
"I refuse to forgive some who forced themselves onto me"
"I understand, but he was vulnerable, he wasn't in the right state of mind"
"Whatever"
"If it doesn't make you comfortable yet, then wait. It will all work out"
We quickly changed the subject and talked about the LGBT+ community.
"Careers is about to start, I should probably go" I said standing up.
During careers, I was stupid and fell asleep only to have the worst dream possible.
I stopped working on the test Mr.R had assigned and looked up. The door opened to reveal Katelynn C. "I am new here, I am originally from Hollidaysburg. I only know one person so Abi, would you care to show me around." I could barely even think of what to say before Mr.R chimed in. "Ms. Orona, I give you permission." I got up shakily, feeling as if everything around me was made of shattered glass. She took me by the hand and lead me out the door. Her touch to my skin was like a stab to my chest. As we got down the hall she shoved me into the bathroom. "Ok listen here you little skank. If you breathe a work of what happened with us, or now, what is going to happen to you, I will not hesitate to kill you." I nodded cautiously as she slowly removed her hand. "Now, last time, we were interrupted, I won't let that happen this time" as her hand slowly made its way down my waist, I heard something.
"Abi, wake up. Class is over" Kami said, shaking my shoulder slightly. I quickly slapped her hand and shot back from my chair, heart racing.
"Are you ok" she said sounding concerned.
"Y-yes, just leave me alone. Please" I quickly walked out of the room.
The rest of the day flew by, and I then realized I had detention. I sat in front of Em, to the right of Abby, diagonal of CayleeAnne, and behind Trenton. We had to fill out apology essays and give them to Mr. Collins. After school, CayleeAnne, Emily, and I headed to the laundry mat "Ash and Dry" (the W fell off) and played around with the carts, because no one actually works there. We then went to the train tracks and listened to more emo music. By the time it was pitch black, we walked to the Softball field and messed around.
