THE INTENSE PAIN I felt abruptly, rushed towards me like powerful tidal waves going through my body. It felt like heat pouring deeply into my abdomen, searing me into a frenzy. It wasn't completely unbearable but the sheer rush I got was coming from Draven.

It was as if his aura was somehow affecting my very being, consuming me in a fit of pent up rage that I unexpectedly felt charge at me like a sharp arrow flying through the air. Angering me as the skies above began to cry for their mother.

I wasn't exactly ready for the pure bombshell of our connection growing so rapidly, even though we haven't sealed our bond with mating. Usually a wolf doesn't feel it's mates emotions until they have completed and sealed the bond with blood and intercourse.

But you both are not wolves. I frowned. No we were not wolves.

Unexpectedly, Draven let out a thunderous roar as fire rippled from his chest vibrating the coal ground beneath me. He turned away from me, his scales illuminating hues of orange from the scorching lava. His wings flaring out before taking him higher as another leap of pain shot through my belly making me cry out.

I could feel his feelings of despair, as his aura was more red than I'd ever imagined. He couldn't have believed that I'd actually want to marry the obnoxious God of War. I'd rather die.

Ares was nothing but a mere spec of dirt compared to the beautiful dragon before me. I needed to know why he was disguising himself as the king of wolves and vampires. How did my mate stray so far from home.

Multiple shouts of anguish bellowed from his throat as he poured out the scorching flames from his mouth. He looked magnificent as the rain pelted against his scales, appearing almost holographic. But his anger was bellowing through me so rapidly I couldn't control my own.

My hand reached towards the skies feeling the energy rush down my arm and into my flesh lighting me aflame. I needed him to calm down so that I could think. Focus.

I waved my fingers watching a cackle of lightning sore through the sky and hit Draven on his back. He roared loudly, his wings flaring so violently. I was certain if he was to hit me with one it would knock me miles away. I needed to get his attention and get him out of his head. The searing pain in my belly grew hotter, warmer. Almost unbearable.

"Draven, stop this!" I cried out as another lash of lightning hit him. But I was loosing my balance and he was only growing more upset.

I felt like I would fall, closing my eyes and clutching my belly. Then all of a sudden I could feel Dravens clawed hand gently catching me, breaking my fall from the blackened rocks beneath me. I fit perfectly in his hand as he slowly brought me closer to his face, his bold aura dimming to a calming blue.

He was still very angry but he could see it was affecting me deeply. I wondered if he could sense my emotions as well. I could feel him calming as smoke blew from his big nostrils into my face. I coughed raising my hand to fan it away.

"Don't be angry at me, Draven. It wasn't my choice." I said letting go of my belly. "My father cursed me to a life without a lover. A life completely alone, forced to learn to love myself. Then I found you and all of a sudden he decided to force me to marry someone else."

"You will only be wedded to me." His grave voice sent shivers across my body, the smell of burnt wood blowing in my face. I closed my eyes, reeling in on his calmness that all of a sudden washed over my body like a soft warm cloak.
