West and Stephanie strolled down the hallway undisturbed. That is, until someone grabbed them and pulled them into a janitorial closet.

"Shhhhh!"

West stared, bewildered, at Riley.

"Riley, what..."

"You are not going down to free Michelle and Eldon!"

Stephanie groaned. "Riles, they've been in there for a long time."

"Look!" Riley shoved a tablet towards them. A grainy night-vision video played on the screen.

"Did you bug the costume closet?" asked West, taking the offered tablet. "You don't think that's a bit much?"

Riley shook her head shamelessly. "No. Now just give them five more minutes. Watch."

"We've been in here so long one of us may have to eat the other one to survive," Michelle deadpanned.

Eldon chuckled, then stiffened with realization. "Michelle, you know I would die before hurting you, right?"

Michelle was quiet for a while, thinking it over.

"That sounds an awful lot like the romantic things you should be saying to Thalia."

"Why?" the word was out of Eldon's mouth before he could stop himself. With that question came a revelation. James had told him to figure out his feelings. Well, he had.

"Why? Eldon, maybe because she's your girlfriend?"

Eldon released Michelle's hand and turned around to where he assumed her face would be.

"Maybe I don't want her to be my girlfriend anymore."

He heard Michelle's audible gasp.

"Eldon..."

~~~
"That. That  is why I bugged the costume closet."
"Alright, alright. Point conceded."
~~~

"You...Thalia..."

"Just hear me out," Eldon pleaded. Now that he knew his decision, everything seemed easier. "You were right. You were right that day when you told me I should have fought for you. I didn't, and that was the biggest mistake I've ever made. I was a terrible boyfriend, and I should have been there for you.

"I miss you, Michelle. James told me to figure out if I liked you more then Thalia, and I do. I know that now. I was a complete and utter idiot before, but I'd like to make it up to you. A lot."

Eldon's heart was pounding.

"What are you asking?" Michelle's voice was quiet.

"I'm asking...Michelle, would you be my girlfriend again?"

There was total silence.

And then Eldon was bowled over by a blind hug.

"Is that a yes?" Eldon asked, laughing.

"Yes," Michelle mumbled, head buried in Eldon's shoulder. "That's a yes."

~~~
Little did they know that a few doors away, also in a closet, three voices squealed in unison.
