A/N HA nope. They are so not gonna move on. You have been fore-noticed. (Is that even a word?) Oh, also, just in case you haven't already perceived, this story is not going to follow canon events really at all from this point forwards. You have been forewarned. (<--yup that's a word.) AND one last thing--I apologize for not writing first person for the first three chapters. Third person no longer!

Dance has started to get easier.

It helps to not interact with Michelle or Hunter.

At all.

I'm pouring my heart into my dance to prepare for nationals, and I think The Next Step has a really good chance to go to internationals. James and Riley got the duet, so nothing to stress about duet-wise. All I have to do is focus on my solo.

And also ignore the gaping hole where my heart used to be, but I think I'm making progress there.

Michelle and Hunter have been closer than ever, and it's insufferable. James and Riley are really stable, West and Emily keep shooting each other glances, even Daniel has been staring at Giselle a little too much.

I hate love.

I miss Eldon.

Even though I'm with Hunter now, I wish we could at least be friends. After all, we were friends before we were dating, and I 'd like to be able to talk to him again.

That won't happen as long as we're ignoring each other,  but I have high hopes.

"Alright everyone! I'm happy to announce the newest member of A Troupe...Thalia!" Ms. Kate is happily standing in front of A Troupe, presenting our newest member. After Daniel left the studio a few days ago, Ms. Kate has been scrambling to find a new member before nationals. I watched Thalia dance at auditions, and she was really good. She'll definitely be an asset to the team.

As co-dance captain, I figure it's my duty to introduce myself and the team to make Thalia feel welcome.

"Hi Thalia," I hold out my hand to her, and she shakes it. "I'm Michelle, the co-dance captain."

"Nice to meet you," Thalia smiles. She's nice. That's good, it'll mean she's easy to work with. I can already tell she'll mesh with the team really well.

"That's Emily, the other dance captain--" Emily gives Thalia a little wave, "West, Chloe..." I continue down the line of dancers until I reach the end. "...Riley and...um, Eldon!" I finish in a rush. Hopefully no one noticed my hesitation. It's the first time I've said his name out loud in practically weeks, and it felt a little weird.

It's also weird how much Eldon keeps looking at Thalia during practice. I guess she's new, he's probably just curious.

I'm sure it's nothing.

A/N: Another one down, undetermined number to go! Thanks for reading ^-^
