"Sayuri Hatake?" Sakura frowned. There was only one living Hatake that she knew of.

"Yep! She's the Copy Ninja's little sister!" Reika affirmed, blissfully unaware that there was anything amiss.

Sakura stored that information away for later purposes. "Okay, so where is she?"

Reika shrugged. "No clue. She goes off on her own every day, but she'll be back by noon. Lunch, you know." She said to Sakura's confused look.

"Oh." Sakura lay back on her bed and studied her two roommates. Reika had auburn hair, grey eyes, an easy smile, and a hyperactive personality, though Sakura could tell just by looking at her that she could become serious at a second's notice. Minako was obviously more laid back. She had chocolate brown hair tied back in a high ponytail, with wavy fringes framing her face on both sides. Sakura didn't remember what color her eyes were, but it wasn't very important anyway. Given that she was a Nara, she was probably a genius, but too lazy to care much about anything.

Sakura made a mental note to befriend them both later, it would be good to have some allies in this world. But for now, she closed her eyes and fell gently into a dreamless sleep.

Reika snorted disbelievingly. She and Minako will get along just fine. She stood and wandered out into the hall, thinking about the strange pink haired girl. Sakura Haruno, who was new to being a troubled child, yet looked as though she had seen a thousand deaths. That thought gave her chills. It felt too familiar. Sayuri will like her too, maybe.

Sakura woke to Minako shaking her gently. "Lunch time." She explained.

"Oh." Sakura rolled out of bed. "Thanks."

Minako shrugged. "Whatever." She padded out of the room with Sakura following close behind.

The cafeteria was small, but it didn't need to be big. Sakura estimated around twenty children total, and even that seemed like a lot. Guess Konoha doesn't have very many options where to put us. The main thing that worried her was how so many children fell under the category of troubled.

Minako led her over to a line, and they joined Reika and a silver-haired girl Sakura assumed was Sayuri. Reika waved in greeting, but Sayuri just raised an eyebrow at Sakura's pink hair.

"Hi, I'm Sakura Haruno." Sakura stuck out her hand.

Sayuri looked at it blankly for a moment, then gingerly stretched out her own and shook it. "Sayuri. Are you our new roommate?"
