Miya

I threw away my food and headed to the bathroom to change into my band uniform.

When I walked in, I saw the cheerleaders and drill team putting on their makeup and uniforms. They all begin to stare and glare at me. Especially Quadra who is the captain of the cheerleading squad.

I walked to the stall farthest away from them. I honestly hated wearing this uniform, but I've always had a passion for music.

I quickly put on my band uniform and walked out. Quadra intentionally bumped into me.

"Watch where you goin' TALL COW?" She said getting in my face.

I immediately walked out the restroom and tried to stay strong but a few tears ran down my face.

I felt my phone vibrating and saw it was FaceTime call from Andrew.

Oh shit. Wipe your face. Wipe your face.

I answered.

A: It took you long enough
M: So mean

A: Nah that's you that's mean. I ain't done nothin

M: Right right so whatchu call me for

A: So I can't call you to call you?
M: You literally just saw me in class Andrew
A: Oh.. well that is true, but besides that are you going to the game tonight?

I can't tell him that I'm in band. He's gonna think I'm a loser.

M: Yeah I'll be there.

I had to be in the band hall in 5 minutes and this dude talking up a storm.

M: I gotta go byeeeeee

I hung up before he could say anything.

Andrew "Drew"

This girl hung up in my face. WOW. She a trip.

I got up out the bed to go get changed for the game. I decided not to play football in high school since I was better at basketball and was fast enough to be the captain of the track team this year. Hopefully Miya will be at my games and track meets to support me.

I hopped in the shower and started singing Poison.

I got out and did all that extra smell good stuff and put on my clothes.

I had on grey sweatshorts, my black nike shirt, and my black and white foamposites.

I decided not to put on any cologne because it's gon be hot outside tonight.

Once I was ready to go, I hopped in my car and headed to the stadium.

I saw my boys when I got there.

"Wassupppp Drew?" My boy Chris dapped me up.
"Wassup y'all" I said dapping him and everybody else up.

"You been messin with Quadra lately?"
"Nah, I got my eye on somebody else" I immediately smiled thinking about her.
"WHO?!?" Everybody questioned.
"Her name Miya an-"
"You talk to Miya the Cow?!?!?!" They all laughed.
"Here she come now playin that damn drum" Donte said pointing and laughing.

She's in the band? Wow. That's just even sexier.

"Shut the hell up. All y'all bitches got a STD and don't be laughing at my girl or all y'all can catch these hands" I told them getting mad.

"Oooo he SPRUNG!" Everyone laughed.
"Oh yeah yo ass gon be sprung when Shandra and Quantavia give yo ass Herpes. I could careless if I'm sprung at least I know her ass gon be there for me"

I saw Miya heading towards the bathroom.

"Miya" I said catching up with her.

"Leave me alone" She said rushing into the girls bathroom.

Now knowing me. I wouldn't give a damn if her ass went in the bathroom. I'd follow her ass in there, but nah it's too many people around.

I stood outside the bathroom and waited.

"Miya Victoria" I said grabbing her wrist.
"What do you want Andrew?" She said snatching her wrist away.
"You" I said rubbing her cheek.
"I don't have time Andrew. You and yo friends was over there laughing at me when I was marching in with the band" She said getting upset.
"If you must know, I actually defended you and told them off. If I didn't care about you, I would've let them laugh at yo ass, but noooooo I'm lowkey in love witcho ass and you think I don't care about you" I said getting upset too.
"Okay Okay I'm sorry for getting mad"
"It's alright but you betta gimme my hug tho" I said opening my arms.

She laughed and hugged me. I brought her in closer and kissed her on the forehead.

"Now gon back and play that drum for Daddy Drew" I said dancing.
"Such a loser" She said walking back and laughing at me.

After the game, I met Miya near the band hall.

"Aye, you need a ride home?" I said walking next to her.

Miya

"Yeah I think so since my mom didn't come to the game tonight" I said checking my phone.
"Bet. You wanna get something to eat before I drop you off?" He asked putting his arm around my neck.
"Yeah I'm feelin Wendy's. 4 for 4?" I asked.

"You know it" I said driving off.

When we got to Wendy's, we ordered and ate.

We begin talking about random stuff. Once we were done eating, he threw away our trash and we were on our way to my house.

I felt the car stop and I opened my eyes.

Now THAT was a bomb ass nap.

"Thank you so much Andrew. You're the best" I said half sleep.

I gave him a hug and pecked his lips. I patted his face 3 times and got out the car.

I got in the house and could barely make it to my room. As soon I got in my room, I went straight to sleep.

Y'all ion what the hell just happened but i'm tellin y'all she's going to be mine. But why she keep playin all these damn games?!?

I turned up the radio and sung along.

"THAT GIRL IS POISONNNNNN"
