I woke up to bright lights beaming in my face and my head pounding. My eyes struggled to completely open. I grabbed my glasses and groaned. 

I sat up and saw Andrew sitting next to me slumped and his hand grabbing mine. I couldn't help but smile. 

How long had I been here? What happened?

I slipped my hand away from Andrew's so I could press the button to call the nurse in. His head shot up immediately. 

"You're awake!! Are you okay? Let me get the nurse" Andrew quickly left my room to go get the nurse. 

The nurse entered with Andrew. I examined Andrew's tired face with bags under his eyes. He returned to his seat next to me. 

"Good morning Ms. Carter. How are you feeling?" The nurse asked grabbing the clipboard. 
"I'm in a lot of pain."
"That's expected. I'm gonna run a few test, but first I'm gonna take your vitals and we can proceed with the test. Do you think you have the energy to fill out this questionnaire for me?" She held out the clip board. 
"I'll try my best" I said adjusting myself in the hospital bed.  

The nurse nodded and smiled. "Just buzz me so I can come get it." She said walking out. 

I looked at the questions and checked the different boxes. After I finished, I looked at Andrew who was looking at me.

"Hi handsome. You should go home and get your rest. Don't you have a game tonight?" 
"Yes but being by your side is more important" He grabbed my hand and kissed it. 

I smiled. 

"You're too sweet babe, but tonight is a big night for you and the team. Tonight is the first district game of the season and hella scouts are gonna be there. I'll try to see if they'll let me out tonight" I rubbed the top of his hand
"You sure baby? I just wanna make sure you're okay and comfortable."
"Yeah I'm completely sure. If I can't come, ball out for me okay?" I grabbed his chin.
"You already know babygirl" He kissed me. 

We both pulled back and busted out laughing. 

"I love yo big head ass" He got up.
"And I love yo ugly ass too" I said.
"You betta lul girl, but I'm finna head out. Text me if you need anything. Call me. FaceTime me. Do whatever so I can look at and admire yo beautiful face" He caressed my face. 

I couldn't help but blush. He gave me a deep passionate kiss and then kissed my forehead. 

"See you later baby."

He did some weird dance. I laughed.

"Bye goof ball."

And he was gone. Now it's time to figure out what happened. I buzzed the nurse to come back to get the paper work and run the test. 

MIYA'S MOM POV

I'm sick and tired of people telling me what the fuck to do and I'm also tired of that whining ass girl, my daughter. 

Yes, I called my daughter a bitch because she needs to learn how to stay in a child's place. 

That old ass man, my husband, did get arrested and I'm not surprised. He deserves it. 

I sat on the lounger drinking my favorite wine. I took the rest of the wine to the head and headed to my master bedroom. I decided I would go see my ungrateful daughter. I threw on my leather jacket and my leather pants with my leather boots. 

I put on my lipstick and grabbed my black leather Burberry purse. I checked myself in the mirror. 

"You are a bad bitch" I said to myself while posing and twirling.
